Dr. Apodaca is the best Dr. in Coalinga, the only problem they don't report one day before appointments, they don't make medical referrals for medical tests that are necessary due to age.

Would have more stars but staff is horrible
Dr. Apodaca is awesome! His office however has gone to sh!t, his staff is horrible. I’ve had medication go to different Pharmacies on two occasions. I have been a patient for most my life. I MISS THE OLD STAFF!!! Moved away and came back. Also I’m sad his nurse practitioners he’s got now or maybe they are doctors, I don’t know but they are booty. I am not visiting the office so I gonna stay until Doc retires. I haven’t had a better doctor anywhere else. GET NEW STAFF DOC! They NEVER answer the phone.

Confidence
We used to live near Coalinga and had total confidence in Dr. Apodaca. We moved away and now have to pay a high monthly cost for insurance which demands going to Doctors at a specific location. These new doctors are sometimes limited in what they can and cannot prescribe by the organization. When needed we will make an appointment and travel 90 miles back to Coalinga just to get the right prescription.

Better off driving to Fresno
Very unprofessional. He usually doesn’t even see you. He has you wait in the waiting room for prescription refills so he can get your co-pay and charge you for a visit. You need to be seen for absolutely everything.

I live in the Lemoore with on going common medical conditions I've gone through several doctors because eventually they conduct care with less time and less explanations and details. I changed my primary doctor to Apodaca in Huron and have been completely satisfied with the care provided. He was my primary physician years ago but I had relocated to the coastal area and since I returned, I have not found care as I did before and glad the care remains the same with the same friendly receptionist.
