Dr. Shapiro made me feel invalidated and unintelligent, I felt that he felt I was wasting his time & even though another doctor had diagnosed the blisters in my mouth as an alergic reaction Dr. Shapiro's opinion was that I had no allergic reaction (even tho I cataloged 2 instances) and was only experiencing cold sore break outs. The only reason he said he'd do an allergy panel for me was because my primary doc recommended it and he wanted to make her feel better. No eye contact Find another doc

Dr. Shapiro is very rude. He talks down on you, and does not take patients seriously. He acts as of nothing is wrong with you, even of he has seen your allergic reactions. He offers very little help or advice, and he has no manners. He should not be in this profession. My advice find a better doctor, don't waste your money.

My experience with Dr. Shapiro was awful. He was very disrespectful to me and dismissive of my serious allergic reactions including head to toe hives and multiple stays in the hospital from anaphylaxis. He acted as if I were wasting his time, told me that I had no allergies, and that in his opinion it was all in my head. Insinuating it was psychological. FYI I sought another doctor and was properly treated for my very real allergies. PLEASE take this review to heart if you are in need of help!

Was thorough and picked up on small unsaid details from my answers. Never made eye contact and used medical language despite not knowing I was an RN. Seemed to be very knowledgeable with no bedside manner. Did not answer my direct question re: finishing my immunotherapy vials for mold from my previous residence in Houston.

Dr. Shapiro is a degrading, belittling, passive-aggressive, obtuse [not a] human being. My GP referred me as I was having severe allergic responses, it was imperative to discern what I was allergic to. He didn't listen to anything my GP had written, nor what I said. He acted as if I was wasting his time. He said I had no allergies. I went elsewhere, & have confirmed multiple allergies. I asked around town, & learned he treats all of his patients horribly. Find a quality doctor elsewhere!
