Wouldn't let this practice near me
I never got close to actually having an appointment. First I was told when I had to reschedule my first appointment twice that they only 'allow' two reschedules. This is a very difficult time for me and much had gotten in the way. Thinking it over, I decided that I didn't want to go to a doctor that couldn't reschedule appointments when I was giving them at least a week warning. So when I called to say please cancel my appointment they had the nerve to tell me that the $390 deposit I'd paid was non-refundable! So on top of being totally unsympathetic they make their money by stealing it from patients like me stupid enough to give them $390 on deposit.

My first impression was a three out of five at best. Doing my first initial intake, he acted like I owed him something “ What can I do for you”. Poor eye contact … I’m very concerned and disappointed at the outcome of the Doctor/patient relationship once I stopped treatment. He comes off like he cares. However, he doesn’t especially when you rub him the wrong way (ie. Challenge his treatment plan, charges, or request a refund of a “credit balance”). Then he becomes aggressive and disrespectful.

Amazing practitioner. VERY helpful. Pointed out basic issues all other doctors missed. Dr. Leo very eloquently put it “ if basic doesn’t work, fancy/complicated systems won’t work”. After working for many months cleaning out/ healing/ and repairing my digestive tract- I have found a renewed sense of health and well being. My energy is back, my weight has dropped without huge effort. I look forward to a long relationship with Dr. Leo as my primary care provider. I’m worth it!

Extremely unsatisfied for the following reasons: (1) there is no real medical exam beyond conversation during visit consult; (2) we were promised (also on the website/docs) to assist with insurance reimbursement. This did not happen. Dr. Leo refused to provide our insurance carrier with the details of the visits and we were ultimately denied reimbursement. Dr. Leo refused to provide his practice W-9 form which the insurance company required to verify his practice. (3) front office staff was rude and often unwilling and unable to answer questions. Overall any benefits derived will be minimal relative to the services, cost and hassle. This is not real functional, integrative medicine. I'd recommend you find a real physician from the Functional Medicine directory (ifm.org) that offers real palpable patient long term services. I posted a similar review in other sites to help inform others.

Dr. Leo is caring, a great listener, and very knowledgeable doctor. He takes a common sense approach to my health and works in a very methodical way, always being certain that I understand his recommendations and how to apply them in my life. Since joining his practice as a patient, I have cleaned up my diet, found & eliminated my food sensitivities ( causing many of my symptoms), & have lost weight and feel great as a result of following his recommendations. Please consider giving him a try.
