Achilles
Dr. Latt did a phenomenal job on removing a Haglund’s deformity and alleviating my Achilles tendonitis. Even his timeline for healing was right on.

Dr. Latt worked a miracle. He repaired my ankle, which more than a dozen surgeons had said was unfixable, and within a few months of surgery, I'm walking up and down stairs, beginning to jog, and have gained flexibility and strength in both my legs. No one was willing to take a chance with me due to long-term disability and nerve damage in my ankle, but Dr. Latt completely changed my life. Not only are the mechanics of my ankle corrected, but the nerve damage is gone. I'm once again dreaming of the things I will do -- places I'll walk, running on the beach, getting back into sports. He's not "just" a surgeon, he's also a biomedical engineer who truly understands how the foot and ankle work. Dr. Latt changed my life for the (much) better and I can't thank him enough! Very highly recommend!

"How likely to recommend Dr. Latt?" Unlikely.
This surgeon is a very busy fellow. He does have, in his corner, a fellow named Morris. There's constant swelling in my foot and lower leg. I have tried and tried to get in to see Mr. Latt, but this guy Morris is an excellent buffer, blocking all attempts for me to get in. I really should have checked out the reviews BEFORE agreeing to have Dr. Latt do the procedure. [One star out of 5 tells it all]. When the cast came off, I went to have x-rays done. Inexplicably, the surgeon announces "Well, I haven't looked at the x-rays yet, but a wire did break off inside your foot...we'll probably have to schedule another procedure. Have a nice day." And then he walked out.

Horrible ankle surgery with Dr. Latt. Would not recommend unless you want your ankle mutilated.
