Dr. Meytin listened attentively. A previous neurologist said nothing could be done but return in 6 weeks. I chose to visit Dr. Meytin when more .symptoms began. The other Dr. didn't spend more than 10 min with me where as Dr Meytin spent an hour. I did truly feel heard and feel I'm in very good hands with future care. Also his assistant is very caring and helped settle my nerves

After having several symptoms for almost 2 years and going to numerous doctors where every single one would tell me I'm ok and I knew I wasn't okay because my health was deteriorating, I asked my PCP to go to another neurologist because the first one could not find anything wrong with me and when she referred me to Dr Meytin I will never forget that on my first visit, after Dr Meytin checked me he told me I already know what is the diagnosis but I have to send you to get a CT brain scan to confirm, sure enough after receiving the results it was the diagnosis that he mentioned on our first visit to his office. He's a great doctor he's very compassionate, kind and always available for my needs. I send him a note and he answers quickly. I am very thankful for him and recommend him any day.

Dr. Meytin is very thorough and I walked out his office with a plan. very professional and kind. Explains things very thoroughly and is quite patient. I have a memory problem so I had to ask a few questions over again. He was patient about that. Loved the experience.

We cannot express enough great comments about Dr. Meytin. I discovered Dr. Meytin while doing research for my husband's recently diagnosed Parkinsons. From the onset at our first meeting, we were left with sincerity, compassion, immense knowledge and patience from Dr. Meytin. The office staff is extremely warm & friendly beyond measure. It's comforting knowing that we have them all in our corner while we continue this journey.

Dr Meytin was courteous, professional & was the first Dr in quite some time to actually spend time with. he answered all my questions & also spent time explaining my results & putting a plan together for me. My first visit and to say I was impressed does not adequately describe the visit. Very little wait and Dr Meytin was pleasant, very knowledgeable and took the time to do a thorough exam and answer every question. He was reassuring, pleasant and put me very much at ease.

I was looking for a new neurologist for my mother specializing in movement disorders and happened to see an ad for Hartford Health. I did not get a recommendation for Dr. Meytin so was uncertain what to expect. Dr. Meytin far exceeded my expectations. He has tremendous bedside manner -- caring and patient. He spent well over an hour listening to my mother's history and issues and we never felt rushed. He had a solid plan on how to try and treat her and managed her expectations well. He gave us options that a number of other neurologists that we had seen had not considered. Overall would highly recommend him! (Additionally the office staff was efficient and very friendly.)
