Waste of Time and Money
I should have known not to go to Dr. Barkodar due to the fact that they do not answer phones. Voicemails do not get answered unless you want to make an appointment. When I went for my appointment, bad vibes from all the women behind the desk. The doctor asked me a few questions and they were supposed to arrange for a brain scan and get back to me but they never did. I called many times but no answer. Of course, nothing came out of it. He got a good sum from my insurance for ten minutes of nothing.

Amazing And Smart Caring Doctor
Telehealth
Dr. Barkador is amazing. Smart and caring. The most caring doctor I have ever seen! He has gone out of his way to make sure I feel safe healthy and he helps me to understand my syndrome. He cares for me for my Mal De Debarquement syndrome. A dizziness of the brain. I trust Dr Barkador completely with my health!

Dr Barkodar is friendly but often his opinion has a tendency to take over. He usually takes guesses that fit his preferences and either refers you to another doctor who is a "specialist" or shuts down your concerns based on the fact that he is the doctor and you're not. Based on my visits with him, it seems like he would rather give you a vague diagnosis and close out your case rather than explore the real issues you come to him for. I like him for his friendliness but frankly I wouldn't refer him nor would I ask for his medical opinion.

Dr. Barkodar was a blessing to me and my family. I went through numerous neurologists to help take care of my grandmother that was diagnosed with Alzheimer and dimentia. They were all great doctors, but we felt in the dark for how to properly take care of her. Dr. Barkodar was very respectful, patient, and knowledgeable. He frequently checked in with my family to see her progress and give additional advice. Although she passed away, we knew our doctor did everything in his power to help her.

I can't even begin to explain how great Dr. Barkodar is!! He has truly helped me and my family go through a very difficult period. He held my hand through every step of the way, intently explained to me what I was going through and will plan on going through. He calmed all my nerves and made sure I was okay. He really knew what he was doing, was very smart, and an all around kind man. I had such a great experience with him!

Dr. Barkodar is amazing!! I came in with horrible migraines, couldn't sleep at night, couldn't focus at work. He sat down with me, listened to all my complaints, asked me great questions, and quickly cured me! He is such a sweet man and truly cares about helping people. You can tell he is very educated in his field and is very professional. I highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for an AMAZING neurologist!!

Dr. Barkodar seems to be a competent, knowledgeable neurologist with a thorough understanding of his subject, although his self confidence sometimes stretches to cockiness. Still, one does feel comfortable that they are in good hands with him. His staff, however is another thing. Strange procedures that are arcane and arbitrary, and aren't even consistent with universally accepted HIPPA practices. One clerk was so rude that I actually walked out on an appointment.
