Dr. Leka Gajula, MD

Had a 9am test scheduled. The office had peopleWaiting to get in as office was not prepared to open on time. Not a single person was called in until after 9:40am. After waiting 1 hour, I went to the desk to ask what was going on. They said oh you are next. No idea of how long that will be as the person who comes to get the people for testing is at her desk on her computer instead of helping the people waiting in the office No respect of patients time as they asked to move the appointment to today and at this time yet have me waiting an hour and 10 minutes and counting.

I went to see Dr. Gajula for routine colonoscopy. Her PA order what I considering unnecessary test considering I had no symptoms. One of the test was a ultra sound on all my organs. When everything was said and done her PA called me and implied I had a very serious illness and advised me to go see another specialist. When I meant with the new doctor, he told I had 1 percent change of having what was implied. These unnecessary test has cause me a tremendous amount of stress and financial burden. Dr. Gajula never once called me herself but instead decided to term my relationship with her office. I received a certified letter stating this.

Got Dr. time of 1 & 1/2 minutes after waiting for 2 & 1/2 hrs. there's no place to sit so have been standing for that time. if you call the Dr. office it takes 1 hr on wait before they answer the call. Very poor service.they want all the money upfront without any ETA of test.

I would give this a 0 star if I can! First off, the doctor wasn't even there! There is no privacy when making the next appointments, all the other patients can hear everything. I went into the office and came out with nothing. VERY DISAPPOINTING :(

100% recommend! I requested an appointment through the website late Monday afternoon (after hours) they called me early Tuesday to schedule me for Wednesday!!! Are you kidding me?!? This is phenomenal! I did see a PA, but I am 100% okay with this...doctors choose PA's to work with them that they help train and trust share the same values and continuity of care as themselves.Her PA spoke with me in length regarding my history and was very thorough in her exam and had me scheduled for the tests I needed within the week! Her office staff were very kind and helpful as well, they explained the processes for each test and when I would hear from the doctor regarding results.

I was experiencing a chronic system for 5 months. Started out with Dr. Gajula and for some reason was passed off to Dr. Kumar. Leading up to an endoscopy, I had several rounds of blood and stool samples taken. Getting results and explanations of results was extremely difficult. When all my results were supposedly all in, I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Kumar in person. However, when he was giving results and explaining "my condition" it was clear he had no idea what I was even in there for! The symptoms and solutions he was offering had nothing to do with my chronic condition. Since then, I have tried getting the results of 3 tests and have not been able to do so. The front desk continues to tell me they will follow up and call me right back. Very disappointed. Still have condition and do not have the slightest comfort level we are/have treated the right thing.

I randomly chose: liver Gastro consultants because they were in network with my insurance. And what an excellent choice it was! After my exam they were able to schedule my procedures for the next day! I was so excited I didn’t have to wait any longer for this appointment. I had put it off for so long and they got me in immediately. Not only was Dr. Gajula extremely knowledgeable with great bedside manner the front desk girl the scheduling person and her nurse assistant we’re also easy to smile and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Gajula and Dr. Kumar for any of your colon liver or Gastro needs.

Never trust Dr. Leka Gajula to perform a banding process. Informed in a very professional manner that the recent - January 2022 - procedure failed, only to be told by office staff it's a new issue and not the same....It had only been a couple of days after the last 3 appointment- step procedure. Upon return scheduled visit, was kindly forced to wait over 3 hours in waiting arear, after the entire waiting area had been cleared prior to seeing Dr. Leka Gajula. Contacted office manager and made aware of the treatment (in a professional manner). A few days later received a certified letter of dismissal from Dr. Leka Gajula. I actually thought she would respect an honest opinion that could potentially assist with her future procedures. Very disappointing as I respected her as a doctor for over 10 years.

My mom met with Dr. Leka over a month ago and a colonoscopy was scheduled. We received no instructions except for a brochure to the sugar land surgery center and what time to report there despite us calling the office repeatedly to ask if there was anything we needed to do. The staff was completely incompetent and unaware. Did not give us any additional instructions. The day of the procedure, it did not go smooth due to lack of instructions. Dr. Leka blamed us for not following the instructions when her office never gave us anything. In addition, it’s been almost a month and we have received no follow up calls or appts. After a phone appt was scheduled, no one called us and we called the office multiple times and no one picked up. Worst experience and staff!!!

Dr. Gajula is a wonderful care provider and her staff is very competent, kind, and knowledgeable. She takes the time to answer your questions and has on many occasions helped me through stress associated with my procedure. For my first ever colonoscopy I called the office six separate times to speak with the doctor and ask her a million questions and 3 out of 6. times the staff put me through to speak with her in the middle of her workday. The other three times I received a personal callback from her within 15 minutes. I have never seen or heard of patient care this excellent in my 30 years working as a paramedic, and that's saying something. I want to especially thank Martha and Lesley for making me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands in the office. I recently called to schedule my mother and father for an office visit because I trust Dr. Gajula to take excellent care of them over any other gastroenterologist in the area. You will not regret seeing this doctor!!

Everyone needs to be aware that she will continue to charge you for additional services after you pay your deductible. In addition, she constantly charges "above the customary and market amount" for her procedures.

I Have received excellent care from both Dr Gajula and her associate in this practice. They have both taken time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gejula for some years now, and I can’t imagine seeing anyone else. Has has a great bedside manner, and she is very thorough. You will be well taken care by her and staff!

First time colonoscopy, a good experience. My husband and I both see Dr. Gajula, she has been great!

The process was very easy, the office contacted me and helped with registration. Dr. Gajula explanations were very clear and helped ease any concerns that I may have had.

Never see her, always her NP. Her office’s incompetence on 8/15 cost us an ER visit on 8/16.

Best gastroenterology doctor in town. To the point and thorough. Staff is very caring and nice as well. Highly recommend.

Worst experience ever. office scheduled me for a procedure 2 months ago but office forgot to call the hospital to schedule. The hospital calls me less than 24 hrs before the procedure to let me know the dr office called 2 hours ago to add my procedure. Office didn't give me pre-op info so it had to be cancelled -DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
