Dr. Leila Olivera, MD

This doctor was unabashedly unprofessional. My mother is 90 yrs old, is spanish speaking and suffers from Congestive heart disease. She saw this doctor on 12/23/20. The office was not able to find anyone to translate so my mother called me. (I live in California) to translate for her. She was in a lot of pain and her blood pressure continued to tick upwards of 180, her medication did not appear to be bringing it down and keeping it steady. We were concerned she might be suffering from some infection. This doctor refused to acknowledge me or allow me to translate for my mother. I am on the hippa list and my mother was also giving verbal consent, she was talking to me via her cellphone. The situation on the cellphone was chaotic and incomprehensible, I could barely understand the doctor over her yelling. This doctor did nothing beside take her blood pressure, no labs, no tests, no referrals. My mother was admitted to hospital next day with high BP after test/labs a thyroid condition.
