Dr. Lei Chu, MD

Dr Chu took about two minutes for exam and only checked my prostate only ,no genital or kidney check .I had asked for general check up on paperwork prior to exam.It felt like a drive through urologist.They did check my bladder with ultrasound to see if I was retaining urine that took about one minute.If this is a specialist exam I will go to my family practitioner next time.

She performed an unsuccessful UROLIFT procedure on me.

I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Chu. Very knowledgeable, kind, and has a good sense of humor. She is a busy professional like myself, but will still spend the time to check me out well since I am always in a hurry to get out of there :) I feel she takes her profession seriously with making sure I stay healthy. That is a good feeling as a patient to know your Doctor cares and will not let you leave until she is satisfied with her diagnosis. She is the best of the best.

Dr Lei Chu is my favorite doctor. She listens and is compassionate. You can tell she really cares. She even asked about my mom from a conversation we had in a prior appointment. She's efficient, while being thorough, which is rare these days. I highly recommend her. Mitch

I have been a patient of Dr Chu for many years. She and her staff are as good as it gets. Dr Chu recently discovered I had some Medical Issues. She was relentless in her pursuit to figure it all out. Left no stones unturned and discovered several unrelated issues which could have been life threatening if not immediately addressed. Dr Chu is straight forward and no nonsense. Yes, that's right, as a male who doesn't like medication and Dr visits she made me do the right thing. She is compassionate, cares and made me feel comfortable going through all of the testing and surgeries. Thank you Dr Chu and Staff. I am eternally grateful to you all.

Our experiences with Dr. Chu was not quite pleasant. My mom visited her several times without issue resolved in the past more than one year, and situation was getting worse. Finally I called several times to demand a surgery per my mom's request and found out she was not the one to do the surgery. Now after surgery with some other specialist my mom is finally getting better. Instead of helping to cure patient's problem, Dr. Chu just tried kept seeing my mom frequently in the past, and delayed process to have my mom suffered for so long. I will not recommend her to anyone.

I thought Dr Chu was a fine doctor. She spent enough time to listen to me, make comments, and make decisions based on what I told her. She does know what she is doing and recommend her to anyone.

She is not a responsible doctor. I called her several times, no responsible, final, she ask nurse tell me will be call me at 11:00. I waiting and waiting not leave phone for a seconds, till 2:30 pm I will leave to hospital, I called her office, find out she back home.

Dr. Chu has been my urologist for the last seven years. She performed my robotic pyeloplasty, and prior to that, placed my ureteral stents as needed. De Chi is an excellent physician; I have full confidence in her medical assessments. Her staff is professional and friendly, and I’ve never experienced unreasonably long waits for my appointment at her office.

Recently my son had a situation and after consulting with several doctors and getting no clear answers we were referred to Dr. Chu. She is wonderful. She is knowledgeable, patient, thorough in her examining and explaining your situation. She’s an excellent doctor!

She is good and take care of patient

Dr. Chu is a truly wonderful physician. She offers exceptional insight and wisdom on any particular ailment. Very down to earth. She speaks from the heart and assures that her patient's problems are taken care of.

Dr. Chu is very personable. Even laughs! Very kind and concerned. Takes time to explain the why's, what's and expected long/short range outcomes. A calm teacher as well. She was training her new medical assistant as the previous one left. While taking care of me she gave the assistant directions and explained why she wanted things done in a certain way. Great compassion. She rescheduled me for an office visit (sooner than expected) because SHE was concerned about me. Excellent!

I was so fortunate to have Dr. Chu as my doctor. Everything she told me was 100% correct. She performed the robotic surgery to remove my prostrate and it was flawless. She came to see me that evening on her way home, the next morning on her way to work,on her lunch break and after work she came and walked me up and down the hall. She came in the next morning and said she would come back at noon and send me home if nothing changed. I went home as she predicted. She is an incredible Doctor!!!!!

It was so easy to communicate with Dr. Chu regarding my concerns and issues. From start to finish I was seen promptly and communication between patient and doctor was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Chu!

Dr. Chu is the best doctor I have ever dealt with ever by far. She is straightforward and direct, but nice and calm. She is very confident in herself and her work. I had to have surgery a week ago with a severe case of hydronephrosis in my right kidney. She did an amazing job and her surgical staff is just wonderful. She checked my urine throughly and made sure I was clean before surgery. Her surgical nurses were so nice and friendly and made me not so scared for surgery. Lei Chu is the best!

I find Dr. Chu to be very personable, she informed me of my procedure in plain terms so that I understood exactly what she is doing and why, she does what so many doctors fail to do in that she telephones to make certain that all is well, this means so much to me as a patient, I find Clarissa, the office person to be very nice as well. I highly recommend Dr Chu
