Dr. Lee Wittenberg, DPM

OK, first I have to start by saying I had my surgery back in 2018 but I’m a little slow to write a review. That’s just my nature. Dr. Wittenberg is an amazing doctor. He has a great sense of humor, listens when you explain your issues and treats you with respect. Dr. Wittenberg performed a Lapidus bunion ectomy on me and it was a success. Too bad I’m a big baby and won’t go back and do the other one. But if I did, it would definitely be with Dr. Wittenberg.

I liked Dr Wittenburg when I first started going there and trusted him enough to undergo surgery with him in 2020. After my surgery he started getting snippy with me and wasn't interested in answering my questions truthfully. Fast forward, 2023, I just had surgery with a different doctor to correct the surgery he did in 2020.

I was in pain. His office - nice Receptionist - tells me to come in (first time appointment.) Quick to see Doctor Wittenberg, waited about 3 minutes. During the opening chit-chat I could tell he had a good sense of humor, easy to talk to, good knowledge of medicine. Got the feeling if he got bored with my feet he could have operated on my kidney. Anyway, Wittenberg goes to work, carving away at my foot like it was a pumpkin. I had a callused problematic bunion that looked like I was growing another toe next to my pinky toe. Doctor Wittenberg explained what he was doing and that made it interesting. Took about ten minutes. When he finished, I asked, "After what you just did I'm supposed to feel better?" He said, "Stand up." I did and said, "Wow!" Pain was gone, I could walk. Like I said, a Biblical experience. Highly recommend.

This office is like a breath of fresh air in the medical community ! The appointments are easy to schedule with a prompt live person picking up the phone and pleasantly getting you in within a day or so - and emergencies are handled same day! Check in is fast, no wait time over a few minutes and the upbeat and friendly medical assistant (Jose) greets you and gets you into a room and minutes later Dr Whittenberg is 'at your feet'. He is personable, friendly, never rushes you, explains everything very clearly and best of all - he is a really nice guy! The exam is thorough, the necessary treatment is handled in the office and you are treated- your time and your feet - very respectfully. I refer all of my friends to Apache Foot and they all say the same thing.

Wound not recommend this doctor. Very rude and disrespectful. He has a very bad attitude and does not care about his patients. All he cares is about the money. Please stay away!!!

Horrible, non-professional person. Condescending and rude.

I had a procedure with Dr. Wittenberg in May. He made an error in the paperwork, which would have sent me to the wrong hospital and created a significant delay. At my follow-up appointment I spoke with another one of his patients, who had a similar experience. The patient also said that she initially met Dr. Wittenberg at a bar, and that he may have an issue with alcohol (which may explain the paperwork problems). That being said, my surgery was a success, and I'm happy with the result.

I scheduled an appointment for my son to see Dr. Wittenberg. We got to the appointment and the front desk was super friendly and welcoming. The wait time was very quick. Dr. Wittenberg had great bed side manners and answered all the questions that we asked, regarding my son's condition. We will definitely be coming back and referring friends over to his office.

Wonderful doctor! Loved the staff and dreaded the surgery I needed but Dr. Whittenberg was kind, informative and had a great 'bedside manner' which made me feel very comfortable. The in office surgical treatment was necessary and each followup visit was prompt, even same day - and he was reassuring as I recovered - FULLY recovered. In addition he recognized a long standing foot pain issue I had, many shots into feet, etc - and gave me the correct diagnosis and ordered the shoes I needed.

He is amazing! I have issues that have caused other doctors to turn me away but he was kind respectful and has helped me through some dificult procedures. My husband and I both see him and we have recomended him to friends. He is blunt and honest, he has a great sense of humore and treats patients like regular people and not like hes better them. Its rare to find really good drs like this. If for some reason he is unavaiable his staff Rachel, Jose, and the other girl *sry are most helpful&kind.

I was very disappointed with my visit to see Dr. Wittenberg.

Dr. Wittenberg has been treating me for about 7 years now. He has done 3 bunions, hammer toe and a pinched nerve, plus a stress fracture. I highly recommend Dr. Wittenberg to all my friends and family. My husband is also one of his patients. His staff is great as well, they are efficient and personable.
