Amazing psychiatrist and PERFECT match for me.
Very unfortunately, I am no longer a patient of Dr Naramore’s - but certainly not by choice. She made the decision to move to the inpatient side at Blount Memorial (when EHRC was still a thing), and was no longer seeing outpatient clients. Still a little bitter about this, but I digress. She has an LCSW background and that is very apparent in her approach and treatment of patients. I always felt valued, heard, understood (and when not, questions were asked until she did understand), she very much took my thoughts and feelings into account. Being raised in an environment where medication was all but forbidden, she encouraged, but very much followed my pace whenever possible.I could write positives all day long and would jump on her schedule SO FAST if I haven’t been established with another dr for so long already. I constantly refer people to her and will continue to do so until she really does retire. ??

Just Don't
I have tried several times to leave a review. Healthgrades will not approve my review because it appears you can't use some of the words I used to describe Naramore. I was honest and not ugly, but apparently, one can't use the appropriate words. Just don't go to her. She is very good at playing her role. Don't find out too late like I did.

On three different accounts, I have reached out to Dr. Naramore and was turned down for service. I would not describe Dr. Naramore to be a kind, caring, and compassionate doctor. Her bedside manner leaves much to be desired. She has personally treated me like I was a third-class citizen when I needed her services the most.

Excellent care provider. Literally help save my life. Very personable and patient. It is true that sometimes that there is a wait but that is due to the fact that she takes her time with each patient. I agree that the negative review is strange. It would be different NOT to get along with her!

Love this doctor. I have been seeing her for several years now. Easy to talk to and understands. A real person who relates. I have read the negative review on this site and I simply DO NOT BELIEVE IT. SOMEONE HAD TO HAVE A SEVERE PERSONALITY ISSUES IF THEY CANNOT GET ALONG WITH THIS DOCTOR! She is very personable, friendly and easy going. Would recommend her 100 X over!!! Cathy W.R.

Dr Naramore treats our daughter. We are so happy with the care and concern she and her staff provide for our family.

Far and wide the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. I have been seeing her for 4+ years and have never dreaded speaking to a doctor more. My mother refused to go visit her because of how poorly she spoke to her and my father has to go to force her to actually listen. Her office staff is the rudest office people I have ever dealt with. If you go see her you better block off at least 2 hours to wait. She is rude and continually wants to change my medication.
