So impersonal
Everytime you see her she will introduce herself like it is the first time she's seen you. Extremely embarrassing and unprofessional. If your pregnancy is complicated she is the WORST person to go to. She can't even use an ultrasound machine...

Very Knowledgable and attentive to me.
Was so glad to finally find someone young and up to date on care of older women, who was not retiring in next year. I plan to follow her practice if she stays within driving distance.

Dr. Halpern is not with St. Mary's any longer. The reason she has so many patients is because of the way the healthcare system is set up via your politicians requested and make law about our choosing which healthcare plans we choose. The politicians have changed our healthcare for the worst. Healthcare for thee but not for you.

No bedside manner and ignores patient's complaints
I was a patient of Dr. Halpern's years ago at the start of an infertility issue. I had been experiencing immense pain and she ignored it. I went onto see a fertility doctor and he discovered a 6 centimeter cyst on my right ovary and a smaller cyst on my left. Within two weeks the cyst grew to 12 centimeters. As a result I had to have emergency surgery. I left the practice and would never see Dr. Halpern again. I honestly do not know how she has positive reviews.

Dr. Halpern is a good, experienced doctor, but takes way too many people like other reviewers have said. If you ask any woman within a 20 mile radius of St. Mary's, they've seen Dr. Halpern. She was great when it came to removing a leaking ovarian cyst, but then belittled me at the follow up and assumed I was being unsafe due to me being young and then gave me a speech about how God wanted me to choose my partners wisely (I was with the same partner for 2 years at that point). I would try to get Dr. Gallagher or Dr. Haslett if you need a doctor from Women's Health Associates.

Dr. Halpern takes too many patients. If you wind up being high risk like I was, you may be overlooked. I wound up having to check myself into the ER after repeatedly telling her and the office that I was concerned about my severe swelling. I had to deliver my baby a week after that, extremely early. Could have been prevented.

I trust Dr. Halpern completely. I started going to her with my first pregnancy, and have been with her since. She is warm, asks about my children, and takes the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend to any one I know!

I had my first exam with Dr.Halpern today. I was very worried and had a few concerns. She absolutely put me at ease, explained everything, and addressed all my concerns. I liked the fact that she is straight forward and takes the time to go over a care plan with you.

I have been going to Dr. Halpern for about 15yrs now and absolutely love her. I have a drive of 45min to get to her and I don’t mind at all that’s how much I like her. She is very thorough and is very personable. I don'tunderstand the negative reviews of her.

She is very nice but in my opinion she sees too many patients. It is impossible to get an appointment with any doctor at the practice, you always have to wait at least half an hour to be seen, and every time it is like she is meeting you for the first time. She doesn't remember her patients and the care does not feel personalized. You feel like a number when you are there, not a person.

If you are expecting to see your doctor "on time" or even within the realm of when your appointment time is, DO NOT schedule and appointment with this doctor.Ive seen her twice and she has been extremely late (45 minutes late and so far 25 minutes late for this one). I even called to make sure she was on time and was assured TWICE that she was. Even when I pointed out that my apppintment was scheduled for 15 minutes ago.She also gave me bad information that was potentially serious that was wrong
