Rudeness
Dr. Friedman is an awesome Doctor BUT a staff member by the name of Lisa, is VERY RUDE. Talking over me, would not allow me to say anything. I had to tell her to please let me finish talking and once I did was very sarcastic asking if she is allowed to speak now. In the 15 years that I have been going to this office, I have never had such an encounter and then when I asked to talk to someone else, she raised her voice and would not transfer me. All I wanted was to renew my sons prescription and she was over the top stating that my son needed to see the Dr. because his last visit was in November 2024. I told her how could that be if it's only been 3 months and I think she did not like the fact that she was wrong. I honestly don't care if she was having a bad day or whatever the excuse is, you never speak to a patient like this. It doesn't take much to BE KIND. We need less rudeness and more kindness!

Dr. Friedman is the best eye doctor hands... I mean eyes down. My son started seeing Dr. Friedman at six and at the time his eyesight was legally blind (20/200). My son is soon to turn eighteen and Dr. Friedman, over the years, with all his magic and knowledge in his field, has helped in making my sons’ eyesight 20/50 and he is able to drive. What he was able to do to improve my sons eyesight is nothing short of a miracle. He is worth the wait in the waiting room. He has great people skills and interacts well with kids.

Had a great experience with Dr. Friedman. I was referred to him by my eye doctor for my eye glass prescription. I was the one to ask about surgery since I have never been satisfied with correction of my double vision correction with prisms in my glasses. I definitely recommend this doctor. As far as I am concerned that the weight of 3 months is typical down here in Florida. I have experienced that wait time with most of the doctors I have made appointments with.

We started going to Dr. Friedman when our first child was a baby and then brought our children there for many years thereafter for their annual vision/eye exams. We always loved and appreciated that he never spared any time when examining their eyes . . . we realize that might mean sometimes waiting a little longer but it is so important to have a doctor that is patient with both the children and their parents and that doesn't overlook potential concerns . . . we also went to Dr. Friedman because he is an awesome doctor with great bedside manner. We are also grateful that he also makes sure that his staff has the same high standards that he has as shown by Gay and other staff that are also amazing with his young patients!

Dr. Friedman is the fourth specialist I have contacted with regard to my adult strabismus and has been by far the most responsive. He provided an immediate fix with spectacles (something other specialists had said would not work). Unlike what some reviewers have said, there was never any pressure to opt for surgery. Dr. Friedman made it clear that continuing to correct my problem with spectacles was perfectly OK with him. He is empathetic and very easy to talk to.

My daughter has been going to Dr. Friedman for about 3 yrs now and he is a great Dr. The staff not so great I made 10 calls between his office and my ins company trying to get my son an app. I called and made an app for my son it was on a Sat his office calls me after 5:00 pm on the Friday before the app to tell me that I have to call my ins company to get and authorization code for my son. They always made the call for my daughter but would not do it for my son so now I have to find a new dr.

Dr Friedman has only one agenda, to perform eye correction surgeries on everyone. He is a doctor for the money, he is fake and does not listen to his patients. I don't understand why everyone is fooled by him. His staff are like sales people, trying to push patients to have surgery! I am very angry with the way he has treated me and my family.
