Dr. B has been my psychiatrist since 2016 and has always made time for me when I have needed it and we have always discussed things fully. He listens well and he makes sure I understand what he intends for me to do and works with me in deciding exactly what that will be as well.

I have never had a psych that listened to my concerns as little as he did. He barely even spoke to me and decided the medications that I was on were wrong for me (one was but any psych in their right mind would notice that) but the other was necessary and I was having no issues with it. He disagreed with my previous diagnoses and medicated me based off his 15 minute conversation with me so I was given a medication that was terrible for my condition. I have no idea how anyone could have a good experience with him if he treated everyone the way he treated me. Save your money and mental wellbeing and go to Winston Salem for a psychiatrist...

He is the worst excuse for a psych Dr. I have ever seen. His answer to everything is that you need to be therapeutic with the patient. He does not have a sense of reality!

Dr. Bourgeois is the best. He is very caring and listens very well. He really wants to help you. He has helped me so very much. He is very personal and professional. The office staff is wonderful at their jobs and very friendly.

Cannot say enough good things about him. He listens and I believe genuinely cares about me, my circumstances, insurance issues etc., so I know he goes the extra mile to meet patient needs. His office staff is very friendly and helpful AND the office runs on time! I would and have recommended him to others.

Dr. Bourgeois is wonderful! I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for an appointment. Usually a staff member will take me back to a room within 5 minutes and Dr. B comes in quickly after that! He remembers actual details about past appointments which makes me feel he is treating the person and not the problem. He listens with genuine interest, asks relevant questions, and offers practical insight in any area of life I have questions/concerns about. Staff are also friendly and helpful!

Dr. Bourgeois is young and refreshing! He is an excellent listener and gives good, realistic and obtainable advice. His office staff is wonderful too! The entire office is very personable!
