Dr. Berk is a terrible human being!! Not only is he rude but made us wait over two hours and we had to leave. Then when we arrived about 17 minutes late he refused to see my 90 year old father. Dr. Berk does not really care about his patients! I'm disappointed that we even started to see him and now need to find a new primary. I’m extremely disappointed!

Dr. Berk is a terrible human being!! Not only is he rude but he also has charged both of my parents for services that never took place during their doctor visits with him. Make sure to double check your After Visit Summary and your insurance bill after each visit with him. Dr. Berk can NOT be trusted! He is nasty and does not care about his patients! He doesn’t take any time to discuss anything with the patients! I’m extremely disappointed!

Stay away
Do not see this man unless you want to be misdiagnosed and lied to. He has no patience and was nasty to my older parents when questioned about his wrong diagnosis. He most killed my mother. If I could give him negative a thousand stars I would. He has no business practicing medicine. Stay Away. if you diagnosed yourself you’d be in better hands.

STAY AWAY – Jan 12, 2024

Mean and Dangerous Dr.
If there was a way to give zero stars I would. It should be known that due to the faulty judgment and medical errors of Adam Berk M.D., my mom ended up in the Emergency Room. When she had told him she felt sick from his medical instructions, he turned on her with belittling sarcasm…never offering her help…He medically engineered a situation which caused her hemoglobin to plunge dangerously. He also posted advice on My Chart which he had never given to her in person. Stay away.

Dr. Berk is Honest to the Core...in the era of big pharmaceutical that is worth its weight in gold...He does tell it like it is, which is better than being seen by a pimple face pre-med student, a fresh out of med school graduate or a physician assistant sent in to do the “Doctors” job...he may not “finesse” my (the patient) issues, but, his intelligence, memory and recall, for knowing symptoms, correlation, relating diseases, reading lab results and follow up is bar none...he belongs in a 5 star hospital setting not where he is...I’m thrilled he is my doctor, he woke me up to my unhealthy living habits, smoking, sugar intake and no exercise lifestyle, before I was six feet under...great doctor for patients with autoimmune diseases like myself... be patient you’ll be better for it...

0/5 Stars FOR THE RECORD!! The level of uncomforted that this doctor can make you feel with the petty unnecessary comments he says during your visits, makes you think dude how do you work here and get away with these statements to your patients? I would stay without a doctor than to have him as one. He has his ways of truly making you feel low.

It was my first visit. I had my 3 year old and 3 month old with me because I could not find a sitter. I waited to be seen for over an hour. when he came into the room I must have not answered the question in the correct way because he proceeded to call me a DUNCE. Which means stupid. He also said I was 15Lbs over what I should weigh. Remind you I had a baby via c-section 3 months ago. This Doctor has no compassion for mothers let alone women. He should be ashamed of himself.

He has been my doctor for the past year and although he is not Dr. Nice Guy, he is Dr. Berk. I truly appreciate all that he has done to help me through a rough time and I cannot say enough about how thorough and professional he is. Some people just do not have time to sugar coat things... especially when sugar is the enemy.

One star only because there is no option for none. He was insulting, beyond not having bedside manner. These are not word for word, but very close: “You were going for IVF and were successful! I hope you’re not going to do that again! (I’m 41, told him I haven’t decided,) “So, you’ll be nearly 70 when you’re going to high school event with your son?” (My response was, “no, I’ll be nearly 60” thinking where did he get his degree, can’t count.) I’ve run out of room to state how bad his bedside

I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone I know. He isn’t compassionate towards his patients at all. Has zero empathy. He is cold and always looks and sounds upset. I don’t like the care he gave and was very disappointed.

He was my Dr. many years ago and I would never recommend him to any of my friends or relatives. He says things that are very hurtful. At times he comes across as very angry.
