Dr. Lawrence Wolin, MD

I toldDr. Wolin that Iwas 'terrified' of the shot that is given in your eye. I was assured I wouldn't know when I had it. During pre-op preparations, Dr. Wolin asked if I was ready for the shot. I said yes, but Dr. Wolin said it happened about ten minutes ago. That was 13 years ago; when I leave my house on a sunny day, I have Dr. Wolin to thank for the 5D perspective I have on looking at trees and everything around me.

20-year patient. Treat you like you never been there before. Front office worse than DMV. More concerned about paperwork and masks than you. Long wait, with appointment. No private insurance. I'm done. Walked out and won't return. Shows no appreciation for the business. What socialized medicine might look like.

My very elderly mother saw Dr. Wolin who detected something during an exam and recommended a specialist. Outside the door, a nurse said loud enough for my mother to hear, “Mrs (my mothers last name) most likely has a tumor. Needless to say this unnerved my mother greatly. Dr Wolins office set up the appointment with the specialist and gave my mother the information. When we arrived at the specialists office we were told that the appointment was at a different location 20 minutes away. We drove to the other location, and at the end of the visit found out Dr Wolin referred the wrong eye specialist! Unbelievable, find a different doctor.

Dr Wolin explained what my condition was and how the treatment plan for it works. That makes a big difference for me in following the plan and knowing when to go back in, if we need to try something else. Really appreciated the time he took to explain.

The front office is efficient and personable, the medical support staff is knowledgeable and friendly . Doctor is focused and up to date on all matters of the eyes as well as an accomplished artisan/artist, and the back office will insure that all matters of billing and insurance are correctly and timely.

Extremely unsatisfied with results of cataract surgery. Not at all what we discussed. wanted to retain near signitsened and this is not at all what happened. He does not seem capable at listening to patients and seems not to be able to effectively perform the surgery that was discussed during appointments. If looking for a cataract surgeon look further than him. seems to be in it all for the money generated by the cataract surgery. Do NOT RECOMMEDNT if you want the results you are expecting.

I was in need of, first- immediate care surgery for a heretofore self-neglected eyelid growth, then- immediate care for an accidently scratched cornea, then- maintenance for two conditions, one of which will be provided only if and when I "see" the need. Such excellent specialized visits provided so calmly and personably by Dr. Wolin are well above and beyond anything I could have imagined.
