Lawrence Wilner is a DO not a MD! I followed him from Castle Pines urgent care to Summit primary which was a big mistake! He used to be a full-time doctor that cared about his patients now it just seems like he is working part time as a hobby! At first the office and the care seen pretty good until I needed referrals for a specialist and then he acted like the problems I was having were not serious even after several tests that showed there are yes problems that need to be addressed. It made me feel like he was not going to make referrals even if it meant the health of a patient. And also his attitude has changed with regards to even a regular physical to the point that he doesn't really look at things that could be a problem and that's what a physical is for I think. I have been trying to get a referral to a specialist for a month and I still keep getting the runaround from the office. Things like "oh we sent it" which has happened five times now and the specialist has not received anything from them. As far as other reviews go he might look like he is taking care of your health but in my case not so much. And though appearance of a good bedside manner and professional appearance does not make one a great primary Health provider or the one that knows more than a specialist. I am really disappointed in this practice!!

Poor in office experience. Follow up worse
Dr Wilner was condescending and unpleasant. For a ‘Wellness’ checkup it barely covered anything. The couple prescriptions I asked to have were filled were never filled. They were to make referrals for a stress test and a dermatologist. Neither happened. What has happened to general medical care? For decades I’ve had attentive, sensitive primaries who made me feel as if I was heard. This was pathetic. I regret not doing due diligence and reading some reviews.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilners for several years and have really enjoyed him as a doctor. But, in recent years, his office has become a frustration. I am not sure if the business has just grown beyond the capacity of the staff -- but they have become virtually NON-RESPONSIVE. Recently, I left four messages, two on an answering machine and two in personal conversations with a staff member about needing a refill for a blood-pressure prescription. Two weeks later - they have still not responded or taken care of my refill. Obviously, I am changing Dr.'s this week. I need my medication from an office that actually responds to patients. A few years ago I would have HIGHLY recommended Dr. Wilner. But, the team around him is inept so I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Holy unproffesionalism! This guy is the worst. He will talk down on you, make you wait excessive amounts of time, and then be rude when you question what the delay is. There are many fine dr’s around here and Larry Wilner is not one of them. Do you and your family a favor and stay away!!

I have had several issues with blood work that was billed incorrectly and his nurse will never call me back. My insurance finally called the office and they were supposed to to update the bill and they never did. I am also being monitored on a blood clot and he has never asked to see me for a follow up. Doesn't seem like monitoring to me. I had called and left a message for was a medication interaction with my blood thinner. You would think something like that would get a call back right away.

Dr. Wilner has been my family doc for over 16 years. I've followed him through 3 different practices because he is so personable and knowledgeable. I frequently recommend him to my friends that are looking for a family doc. His new practice in Castle Pines has 7 day a week service.

Compassionate, intelligent, and honest. This physician has gone out of his way to assist patients. I highly recommend anyone seeking a family GP to establish primary care with Dr Wilner and his excellent staff.
