Likes to talk, doesn't listen
Dr Horn took me through the history of my disease, then through various approaches and studies over the past few decades. He then closed with, I can't do anything for you, and don't believe anyone who says they can Shook my hand and left.

I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 40 years, and my feet have become deformed. Every now and then I develop a hard callus on the bottom of my right foot. It makes it painful to walk. Dr. Horn gently removes the callus, then I can walk pain free again. He has been wonderful to me. He does have a dry sense of humor, but he has never been rude to me. I have seen Dr. Horn for a few years now, and continue to do so.

I don't know if Dr. Horn remembers, but he grafted a ligament into my left ankle back in 1992, which had popped while I was dancing. I was a bad patient and didn't follow his recovery advice well (I even cut off my cast after a few days!). I wanted to let him know that since then I have traversed across the Grand Canyon a number of times in one day and hiked several 14,000 mountains! The ankle still serves me well in various activities. Thank you Dr. Horn for this and putting up with me!!

I am a 30 year old pregnant women who took a fall when I was 3 month's pregnant broke a bone in my foot. Dr. Horn 1st meeting my husband asks why this type of fracture is common in women he stated "because they're inferior to us men". I was to be NWB until next visit. Visit 2 he comes in yelling and questioning as to why I haven't been walking on my foot and using my CAM BOOT states there is nothing he could do for me. Visit stated that's what you get for being pregnan, that should teach you.
