Dr. Lavanya Sundararajan, MD

I don't take these reviews and their implications lightly, so I write this after reflecting for many months on whether it's worth publicly sharing. My appointments with Dr. Sundararajan were hands-down the worst medical appointments I've ever had in my life - and, wow, that is saying something. Horrible bedside manner, incorrect IMPORTANT diagnostic information, horrible and aggressive communicator, as well as a horrible listener, blew off existing appointments - the list goes on and on. I sincerely hope no patient going through a cancer or other serious diagnosis has to see this doctor.

Dr. Sundararajan is a very impolite doctor that only puts her views and feelings into consideration. She cares little about how the patients feels. She puts too much of her own personal opinion into her work rather than a professional opinion. I would highly not recommend her for she is extremely rude.

Conclusion of review... after the dr Lavanya treated my mom so horribly. I noticed my mom changed she was sad depressed and stressed she was never the same. she cried alot and just gave up fighting and shortly after her cancer grew at an incredible rate she died a sad miserable death while Lavanya took maternity leave and cared not a bit. The staff was rude disdainful and refused to talk to my mother who was 75 yrs old. My mom always after that was afraid to ask questions or anything.

Dr. L is a very good compatinate dobctor who has treated both my mom and dad. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any of my family or friends. Dr. L goes out of her way to make you feel good about your plan and to comfort you and answer all you questions. She is also very prompt on calling you back if you should need something or have a question from home
