Dr. Laurie Perrin, MD

Dr. Perrin and her staff are wonderful. In fact, the entire team at Flagstaff OBGYN is great. I had a child at 29 weeks, Dr. Perrin's decisions and knowledge saved my child's life and most-likely mine too. She is very knowledgeable and great when you are dealing with a high stress situation. Her P.A. Kristi is wonderful as well! I have now had 3 children and a miscarriage and I drive from far distances just to make sure I go to this office for OBGYN care. They are the best.

Dr Perrin sees the patient as a whole, not just a diagnosis. She listens to my issues and gives me options for treatment.

The Entire Medical and Office staff are very welcoming, friendly, and very much put you at ease.

Dr. Perrin provides exceptional care and time with her patients. The environment feels calm and safe, and I feel listened to and heard, as part of a collaborate relationship.

This happened a few years back but I thought I’d leave a review anyways. I went in for a visit for birth control. I wanted the copper IUD and she pushed me towards getting a hormonal IUD. A month later, I started complaining about severe pain and migraines. I was told to wait it out and that migraines are “definitely not from the IUD” because “there are no studies showing such”. I still made an appointment to get it removed. The appointment came up and she was unable to remove it. So I had to make another appointment. Waited MONTHS for the next appointment. I was finally able to get it removed with guidance from an ultrasound. She asked what birth control I was going to go on/what she should prescribe to me. I told her I didn’t want anything because of my long history of issues with birth control. She got upset and said “I better not see you back here in a month pregnant then!” And walked out. This is not the way I want to be treated by a provider.

Perrin in little words did NOT care at all about me. Rarely saw her and she didn't deliver my baby, so I was absolutely clueless of who did. I was always having to make trips to the hospital because she was never there and couldn't help with the symptoms I was having. She was very short and not interactive with any of my concerns nor questions. Her assistant was the one who mainly helped and showed care. Not to mention, I only saw her ONCE never did anything about my concerns. In my opinion she was the worst OB out of all of them. Really irritated

My daughter saw dr. Person she delivered her baby left gauze inside her uterus after delivery causing and infection. It has dried and stuck to the wall of her and was pulled out later causing much pain

Dr. Perrin is a nice obstetrician, however there were aspects of her care that I felt I could improve. For example, her demeanor is kind of laissez-faire and at times I got the impression that my concerns were downplayed. In regards to labor and my birth plan it definitely did not happpen the way I wished, that being said it rarely does. However, the potential was always there to meet my expectations and stick to my birth plan, but some decisions were made that did not play in my favor.

I ended up having to have a c-section. I told Dr. Perrin many times in labour that I needed a c-section as the baby was not coming out. She did not listen to me for a good 5 hours, until she finally conceded for a c-section. She later told my parents that it was a good call on my part.
