EXCELLENT OVERALL. Wait times are never exceedingly long, typical medical appointment. Dr. Swaby's efforts went well beyond my previous 2 GI Drs when she personally (and successfully) battled with my insurance company to treat me with an "off label" medication. She has excellent bedside manner, patiently and effectively explains complex issues and displays genuine caring. I feel fortunate to have found her. Her nurse Karen actually answers the phone and is exceptionally helpful, in keeping with very evident high standards at this practice.

I have waited long times in the waiting room for each and every appt. I have waited an hour, only to be sent home as equipment wasn't working. When you do see her, it is rushed.

I waited a long time to get in to see this doctor; then she told me that my labs were “normal” and missed a crucial abnormal result that I had to bring to her attention. She never discussed the findings with me and had her nurse call in a prescription. She did not respond to my questions or results in a timely manner or sometimes at all. She refused my request to repeat the labs to see if the treatment was successful. After the surgical procedure, neither she, nor anyone from her office, called to follow up or give me the results of the procedure labs once they returned. I had to reach out to the office again to ask for myself. Be prepared to fight for yourself and half-way decent care if you choose to use her. It is not a relaxing or good patient experience.

Had a colonoscopy with Dr Swaby and could not have been more pleased. Took time after procedure to explain results and personally called me the next day to check on me and answer any questions. I found her to be very knowledgeable with an excellent bedside manner. Highly recommend .

My son went to see Dr. Swaby about 3 or 4 months ago. She told him she wanted to get all his medical records and then make a recommendation. We have called the office about 4 times and her assistant has sent her 2 or 3 emails, and so far she hasn't made a recommendation for my son. She even told my son not to come back for a follow-up appointment until he hears from her. She is far too busy to help him.
