Dr. O’Connor treated my disabled daughter at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina before he moved to MN. My daughter suffered from frequent UTI’s, kidney stones, that required multiple surgeries which in turn led to sepsis. My daughter has seen numerous urologists for the past 20 years. Before Dr. O’Connor left South Carolina he recommended Utiva cranberry pacs and DMannose. My daughter was already taking a cranberry supplement that was not working. These cranberry pacs along with D-Mannose were game changers. Thank you Dr. O’Connor. What a difference these have made in Megs life.

Excellent Service
Dr. O’ Connor treated me at Prisma in Columbia SC. His service was excellent. He was personable and attentive. I was referred to him for ongoing urinary tract infections. He diagnosed the cause and after the infections continue to reoccur, he recommended corrective surgery. The surgery has been a success, . He was never rushed. I was able to get appointment in a timely manner, and when needed communicate via the portal. I am sad that he moved away from Columbia.

Dr. O'connor was very disrespectful and treated me like I was unhuman. He was so overly played up on tv they he was some great Dr. When I got there he only spent literally 4 minutes with and did not treat me. He just let the room and never came back!! He is a waste of space and a disgrace to the medical field!!

I am so disappointed in the care that I received from Dr. O'Connor. It was so bad and I not only had to pay for it and I ended up going to another urologist and ended paying for that care too!! The other urologist came up with a totally way better diagnosis and actually help me!!

I simply can't believe some of the negative reviews I'm reading here on Dr. Oconnor. Thanks to him he caught my bladder cancer early, and between my initial surgery, follow-up post-surgery treatments to reduce the likelihood of recurrence, and a recent follow-up biopsy to verify that all remains well, I remain happily cancer-free. I found that he always took care and time to explain procedures and options to me. He made personal follow-up calls after a procedure to check if all is well. And best of all he was 100% successful in his treatment plan for me. 5 stars from me!!!!

Visited Dr. O’Connor to receive a 2nd opinion after a mass had been discovered in my left kidney and a different urologist had told me that the kidney would need to be removed. Now two weeks out post-op, the tumor was removed and both kidneys are still intact! Dr. O’Connor stopped a couple different mornings after the surgery to check up on me. He gave me a great sense of appreciation for his confidence, surgical skills, and human compassion. Thank you, Dr. O'Connor!

Awful experience! He is rude, condescending and unhelpful. He did an unsuccessful procedure which has left me traumatized and in pain. Complaints have been filed with Health Partners but they do not care that this doctor possibly created a life threatening situation. Please choose another provider for your needs.

I went in with fever, back pain, stomach pains, and blood in the urine. I was in Pain and felt awful. I was referred here by my primary Dr. and was desperately hoping for answers and help! But "Dr. O'connor " did nothing! He said just to drink water and you will feel better!! He ran no test and gave no prescriptions. I had to go back to my Dr. to get help. I give him Zero stars.

I should have know that Dr. O'connor was a washout when I called to get an appointment and the scheduler said I could come in any time tomorrow or next day. His schedule was pretty much wide open. That should have been a dead giveaway that he his completely incapable of practicing medicine in any way shape or form. Long story short he didn't help me and I wasted my time and money and got nothing from him!!!

Refused to help me or even acknowledge there is a problem. he just keeps saying the same old thing that my bladder is just fussy. I dont think so. That would not cause severe bleeding for 3 years. He is a jerk and should stop practicing medicine!!!!

Was with a family member who went to see him. She was kept waiting 90 minutes to see him. He rushed through her visit & did not listen to her symptoms. He was very condescending & snarky asking her things like: "have you had a poop" ; "you pain is probably just gas";"need to lose weight honey"; "I have had a long day and people are waiting". Misdiagnosed her - & she ended up have to have a 8mm stone removed & going into sepsis because she followed his advice and waited to have further testing

Awful, awful, awful experience. This doctor chose an inappropriate procedure which left me unable to work for over a month and on disability. It was a poor medical decision verified by 2 other urologists. Arrogant, temper problems & lacks patience. I complained to his supervisor (no results). Woodbury clinic staff are awful - wait times are over an hour. Please choose another provider who will care for you and your well being. Poor representative for his practice.
