I will never recommend Degelsmith to anyone. Not even my enemy. He diagnosed me in my ER room for 2 mins or less. Seemed extremely annoyed that he had to care for me. I checked in to the hospital on January 1st with a real bad cough and after diagnosing me said that it’s a simple cough and recommend I take mucinex. I have the paper work to prove it. 3 days later mount kisco hospital calls me and said they have reviewed my X ray again and that I have pneumonia. Sent the prescription of antibiotics to my pharmacy. I’m currently at an army training site and I’m still coughing 2 weeks later. I will be going to a real and capable doctor once I am done with training. He should not only be fired but also not be able to practice going medical care. Absolutely incompetent doctor! If I had the time I would have filed a formal complaint.

This Dr. Degelsmith needs to be fired!! He was caught bad mouthing and mimicking a patient in the ER who was having a problem! Stated he didn't care how long his patient needed to wait then proceeded to ask patient how many antibiotic pills they wanted and for how long? One week, two weeks?..... If that's what the patient wants, that's what the patient gets heard every word he repeated to nurse regarding his bad mouthing patient. Going to a higher up on this one for sure! Not done!!!!!!!
