Dr. Lauren Schwartz, MD

I never seen a doctor like Dr. Schwartz. I called her office at 10am and she was in my hospital by 11:30 am. I was getting over a spinal infection. While being a high risk patient, she agreed to help me and assemble a team to best care for me. She called me, cammed with me or visited me daily. Never seen a more dedicated doctor. My spine was severely damaged from the infection. If it wasn’t for Dr. Schwartz, I would have been bed bound and in eternal pain. She relieved me of damage and the pain. 4 & half years later and I can get out of bed and walk around like nothing.If you ever need a neurosurgeon, I’d recommend you seeking her out. You won’t regret it.

Dr. Schwartz met with us after another doctor had performed neurosurgery on my wife for brain cancer. She helped me and my family with the path forward and her insight into the disease and treatment was invaluable. You couldn't find a more compassionate or caring doctor. I will always remember her kindness at a time when we needed it most.

About 11 years ago,. God put my daughter’s life “Sydney Gomez” on Dr. Schwartz hands,, thank God and Her, my daughter has a normal life.. ??. I love that woman.

During a recent stay in the hospital another neurologist was called in for an opinion which left my family and myself in dire straits with his diagnosis which fortunately for me turned out to be completely false! Dr. Schwartz was the on-call neurologist and came to see me unknowingly after the first neurologist had talk to me. After reviewing my scans and reports she did not see anything of the sort of what I was originally told. After some follow up she literally called me that night while I was still in the hospital and gave me the hope and the information we so desperately needed. Dr. Schwartz continued to see me until I was discharged and I just have to praise her for her bedside manner, demeanor and personal affect Which meant so much to myself and my family. We would definitely recommend her and will turn to her for any future needs.

Dr Schwartz came into our lives unexpectedly but we are so thankful she did. My husband went in to the ER and had to have emergency back surgery. It was then discovered he had a brain defect he never knew about. Dr Schwartz had to do 3 surgeries at one time on his back and his brain. If she had not found this defect and only fixed his back out he could've been paralyzed. Dr Schwartz is humble, smart, thorough and knows what she is doing. She goes the extra mile to ensure the proper diagnosis and treatment is done and she answered every single question we had. She is top notch and we wouldn't go to anyone else. We have 100% confidence in her. Dr Schwartz is truly is an awesome neurosurgeon and only wants the absolute best for her patients. She is not in it for the fame or money she truly loved what she does and does it for the right reasons. If you are second guessing yourself in choosing her do not..make sure you choose her!

Dr. Lauren Schwartz is a blessing and truly amazing Dr!! I waited a year because of insurance just to go to her and it was well worth it! She is attentive, caring, and straight forward. I love the fact that she speaks to you like a person and gives you so much information on what she's going to do for you. I had a VP shunt placed almost 2 weeks ago and it went amazing. From admission to surgery and after she was spot on for me. I can't thank her enough. If you have to have neurosurgery done check her out. You won't be disappointed. This is a Dr. I trust 100% with my life. Thank you Dr. Schwartz I'll be forever grateful!

Dr. Schwartz is very good at what she does. She is straightforward and to the point. She gives her recommendations and options that best fits the patient. She took great care of me at St. Mary’s Hospital after my head trauma.

She is sincere and recommends what is best for the patient, not her income. Surgery is the last option, but if needed, her record is impeccable and she is listed as the top neurosurgeon in West Palm Beach and well deserved. I had the benefit of working with her when helping children from Central/South America which she did for free because it wasn't about money, but about helping a suffering children . She was also in the news for miraculously saving a child with drive by gunshot wound in head. Search local news...you will see a TV broadcast regarding this child's incredible full recovery and perhaps had 10% survival rate. She is not just a neurosurgeon but an artist of life saving. I see one fake review in here...disregard that review as it probably is a jealous competitor since they mention names of others. The thing is, Dr Schwartz doesn't care about the competition, but rather saving lives. That is what I have learn when she provided these volunteer services. Thank you!

Dr. Schwartz has performed successful surgeries on my son (skull) and my husband (back) and always took the time to make sure we understood what was happening every step of the way. Dr. Schwartz even took time to explain my son's condition to his oral surgeon before wisdom teeth removal.. a consult the oral surgeon said was quite rare. Her staff assistant, Vicki, is kind and diligent in scheduling follow-up care. Trust in Dr. Schwartz and her staff will be well placed.

Dr. Schwartz operated on my mother and did her post op care. Dr. Schwartz was great about explaining step by step what was going to happen with the surgery. She took the time to answer all the questions and concerns. My (our) experience was positive.
