Amazing and attentive pediatrician.
Dr. Melman is a wonderful and attentive doctor. She listens to our needs all the time, every time. Her schedule may be limited, but that doesn't merit not being a wonderful doctor due to that. I am thankful that we found such a caring pediatrician.

Dr. Melman is very thorough in her well visits. She is patient and informative. She handled my teenager's eating disorder with kindness, concern and empathy. She provided resources and was very attentive to our challenge. Her schedule is limited in Portland, so if you want to only see her for all issues, this could present challenges. But as a doctor, she's wonderful.

Inflexible schedule, no evenings or weekends and only works mornings. Doesn't listen to parents, makes assumptions based on seeing child for only a few minutes. Always wants to pathologize everything. Cost us over $2000 for an unnecessary ER visit. Don't get me wrong, I'm overly cautions with my kid, but even the ER doctor said the pediatrician shouldn't have referred to ED. We switched to another pediatrician in the practice, who we love!
