I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Meinke and her residents and students. When an X-ray for back pain showed a lung module, I was terrified. Dr. Meinke reassured me and did a great job explaining how we should proceed and what would happen in different scenarios. She looked through the CT Scan with me and pointed out what she saw. We created a followup plan and what would happen if I were to get pregnant in the meantime, since my husband and I were planning that. Thankfully my followup X-ray showed no changes and confirmed the nodule is likely from an old valley fever infection. Dr. Meinke called me herself to tell me the results. That’s the first time I’ve ever had a doctor call me personally about good results! I truly appreciated her sensitivity to my anxiety, how thorough she was, and her kindness and humor. I highly recommend Dr. Meinke!
