Dr. Matrka is a very knowledgeable and excellent physician. We recently saw her with my teenage son. She and her speech pathologist took the time to listen to his history and to examine his throat, voice and vocal cords (which was a very smooth and easy process). She explained her impressions/diagnosis and answered all of our questions. She provided reassurance, and we feel that we have a great treatment and follow-up plan moving forward. Her speech pathologist is also excellent. The check-in process was quick and very efficient, hardly any wait in the waiting room. All of the staff members who helped us were so helpful, professional, caring and friendly. It was one of the best experiences I have had in a medical setting, and we appreciate Dr. Matrka's expertise. Looking forward to returning for therapy!

I have been a patient of Dr. Matrka for approximately 2 years. She has been extremely conscientious and professional this entire time. She and her staff make sure that you are well educated in your condition and all treatment options so that you can make the best decision for you. I would recommend Dr. Matrka to anyone needing an ENT especially if you have voice and swallowing issues.

She is a great doctor... she took very good care of my son. He had his tonsils out and put tubes in his ear. She takes her time and answers any questions.

Doctor kept my husband prepped for surgery nearly all day at OSU Wexner hospital today (IV hooked up, fasting for nearly 24 hours), with both of us nervous as the surgery time kept getting postponed. Finally the doctor appears & says oops the staff leaves at 3pm so I can’t operate. That’s ignorance, at best. Similar surgeries (post Stage IV throat cancer) under the care of senior oncologist (alas, in a new position in Cleveland) went flawlessly: on time & trouble-free.

I'm giving her a negative zero. I came into her office for the first time. It was about my vocal cords, and tells me I need a gastro bypass sx. I stated to the doctor I have no immune system. Why would you say something to me like that..... I will never go back to her or recommend anyone else to her. Not caring or understanding at all.....
