Stopped refills for chronic migraines.
I have been a patient for over 7 years. I am 54 years old and have chronic migraines. We’ve tried several treatments with a pain pill working the best. I have been on this pill for 7 years. Works well for me. Doesn’t take the migraine completely away but helps control the pain. For the 1st time in those 7yrs I need to be seen ‘again’ before my yearly well check. I signed an opioid agreement for one year last May so should still be receiving care. Total money grab in my book. Insurance doesn’t cover this extra visit, of course. No refills anymore. I guess I’m just supposed to lay in bed with a migraine for 24 with no pain meds. Lovely. Finding a new Dr. I do not recommend her.

Does Not Care for her patients
I’ve been a patient with Dr Frigyes for over 15 years. I was 7 minutes late to my appointment because I have to travel 18 miles to get to her office. By the time I checked in they told me she left the building and my appointment was cancelled. She only has one office so maybe she went grocery shopping? I was so mad that I dropped her as my primary physician.

Lacks compassion
Dr Frigyes is a very cold doctor. My last visit she just sat at the computer with her back towards me. When she started the exam it was like she didn’t have the time for me and never looked at me. I’m in search for a physician that shows compassion and is interested in the patients concern.

Couldn’t Care Less
I have been going to Dr. Frigyes for a few years since my OBGYN retired. I‘ve never really felt comfortable with her as she gave off the impression she doesn’t care. At my last annual exam I opened up and mentioned that my migraines were becoming more frequent and I was struggling to get them to go away with the medication I was using so she prescribed me something different. I just received my bill and was charged $176 on top of my annual exam because we had talked about my migraines. She also wanted me to come in on another occasion when I called in and requested medication for an infection that my previous Dr. would just call in for me. I feel like I’m being nickeled and dimed and she could care less about me. I’ll be finding someone new going forward.

I had been seeing Dr for a few years. I have had bad allergies and asked about what a steroid shot entails. Didn't give me any information and she had her nurse come in and administer the shot. A few months later, I noticed a huge difference in my skin. The color changed and the fat cells were killed off leaving a huge depressed scar. I thought it would go away after a while. I went back in to have it checked. Dr acted as if it wasn't a big deal at all and I asked her if she had any other patients who had this issue. She said that she only had one patient who came back with this similar issue and the patient didn't come back and she said that she assumed that it healed and was normal since she never came back to her. I was alarmed. She had no clue about this matter. I'm never seeing her again.

I wish I could give zero stars! I was referred to Laura when my usual doctor was unavailable for a yearly exam. This was my first (and now only) visit with her. She never introduced herself which felt awkward and left me searching online after my appointment to look at her picture again to determine if I had actually seen the doctor I made an appointment with. She was rough with the gyno exam. Spotting is normal but I bled for more than a day after this exam. I had my blood drawn, and I told her I wanted my blood tested because I was concerned about my thyroid. When results came back indicating hypothyroidism, I asked about antibody testing to see if I have graves/ Hashimotos like members of my family have. She was reluctant in her response, and had her nurse pass along her response of “it really does not affect treatment. But if she really wants, we can add the antibody test.” Yes- of course I want it. Frigyes is socially and medically inept.

I have been seeing Dr Fridges for a few years. The only reason I haven't switched is because I hate trying to find a new Dr. I feel like she is always rushed and is very cold. I just had an appointment this morning and have switched to being Vegan. I had a few questions pertaining to this and wanted some different labs done. She looked at a list of what I wanted tested and she said she didn't even know what some of them were. At the top of the list was DHA and EPA. I'm pretty sure I knew those were Omega 3's even before I became Vegan. After I left I realized that I didn't get an actual answer or suggestion out of her. I will definitely be finding a new Dr.

Dr. Frigyes gave warmth and kindness during my visit. She took full medial history, listened to my story, and worked with others on her team for weeks to find a solution that worked for me. Highly recommend.

Not at all interested in my health nor my family history of heart disease and cancer. Said my labs looked good, so didn't even address any of my issues I tried talking to her about. Spent less than 5 minutes with me for a complete yearly physical and I never took off a stitch of clothing other than rolling up my sleeve to allow for the blood draw. How is it ethical to charge a patient $600 for a 5 minute visit, not remove any clothing and not receive any answers to a patient's concerns?

No attention to anything regarding my health. Ordered hundreds of dollars of blood tests but never concerned herself with any results which clearly indicated problems with thyroid disease. Couldn't even get her to return calls. Don't use this doctor unless you don't really need one.

Dr. Frigyes was unfriendly and disinterested in my issues. She proclaimed that I looked healthy. So, I guess that means my symptoms were meaningless. Went to a very respected rheumatologist in town sometime afterwards to find out that I had 3 very serious illnesses. If you have Medicare or Medicaid, I would find a different doctor. I really felt that Dr. Frigyes just did not care. It was a terrible experience when I was already sick.

Not a people person. Most doctors aren't, which is frustrating. But only spends a minute with you before she has her foot in the door to go to the next appt. Asks that you correspond via email and that she will promptly return your message. A week later, still no response. Time to move on to a more caring doc.
