Dr. Laura Epperson, MD

Dr Epperson is wonderful! She really listens to your concerns and treats you with the utmost respect. Let’s be real, going to the gynecologist isn’t exactly on anyone’s favorite list if things to do. She makes it as comfortable as possible. I Would highly recommend her if you are searching for a great obgyn.

Called her office when I found out I was pregnant. Talked to nurse via phone. Said I wanted my progesterone levels tested because they were low with my 1st pregnancy. Nurse said they would check them but would not do anything if they were low because "research shows that it delays miscarriages in unhealthy pregnancies". I asked her to speak to Dr. E get back to me because I would not be willing to see a doc that wouldn't be willing to prescribe something. She was rude and I never heard back.

Dr. Eperson is the best physician I have ever worked with, OB GYN and all! She has a very warm, inviting personality, is confident in her treatment plans and advice, and honest. My pregnancy with her was a wonderful experience and women’s healthcare after my pregnancy. She’s patient and takes time to talk and listen. I HIGHLY recommend her!

She has a way of putting you at ease, takes the time to talk and make sure your questions have been answered. Explains things so you can understand.

Dr. Epperson has a bedside manner that can not be taught. After a perfect 8 months of pregnancy I was rushed to an emergency C Section ay 34 weeks 4 days because my baby was in trouble. When Dr. Epperson got in she found that my uterus had ruptured causing the naby to lose blood supply and me to hemmorage losing 80% of my blood. The baby was revived long enough to make it one day so I could see her after ICU. Dr. Epperson saved my uterus and my life so I can still have the chance to have babies

Dr. Epperson is an excellent doctor because she listens, then suggests treatment options. Her "options" come backed by her years of experience in her specialty field. I am always impressed at how she keeps current with the latest treatments, medications and best practice studies. She also happens to be very personable and it is easy to approach with sensitive topics. I wouldn't want to "do" menopause without her!

I love Dr. Epperson! I saw her through my entire first pregnancy and she delivered my baby. She is very personable and has great bed side manner. She really listens and makes you feel heard and comfortable. She listens to your needs and wants. She thoroughly answers questions. I was a couple days postpartum at home and had some concerns on Christmas, she was on call and took the time on Christmas to call me and talk to me and really spent time making sure that I was taken care of!

I immediately felt at ease with Dr. Epperson. With each pregnancy, I have felt very confident in my care because of her. She has a wonderful bedside manner which has always made me feel relaxed with her. I appreciate that she shares her own experiences. She was a great advocate for me when I needed to see additional doctors as well. I also appreciate that I feel comfortable with any of the other doctors and the physicians assistant in Dr. Epperson's clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Epperson!

Determined cause of my problem quickly. Very compassionate, worked quickly in determining treatment that worked. She took the time to listen to me, my symptoms and problems, and her diagnosis was right on. Her treatments and medications gave me relief from pain and discomfort in a short period of time. I strongly recommend her and could not be more pleased with her as a health care provider. Her nurse assistant (Linda) was also very friendly and compassionate.
