Dr. Laura Diaz Del Castillo, MD

She is unable to listen and constantly interrupts when trying to ask questions. Bases her assumptions on very little uninformed information. Isn't willing to be wrong and set aside her ego when she isn't correct. Refused to take into account that a patient who just had two seizures (became unconscious multiple times and had memory loss) in 6 hours may have been unable to accurately relay critical information, and decided against listening to someone who was a witness to both incidents, being close enough to catch the patient before they fell during both seizures and has access to their past medical history and medications for over 30 years, including those the day of the incident. Extremely rude and unprofessional when asked about possibilities opposing her assumptions. Patient was admitted and and another doctor later said her assumption wasn't very good based on information presented and poor clinical diagnosis.

Went to the ER Tues with my back. Dr Castillo was the dr very more manners,she didn’t even exam me . Order me pain pills and told me I can go to assist living for therapy. Very bad bed side manners .I also going to report her to the HR at the hospital.sad people gotta be so bad especially in ER . This gal won’t never go back to Deaconess.

Took my grandfather to the ER. She was the treating Dr. Completely disgusted in her approach to him. Bed side manner was non existent. Treatment of patient and family were...we were less than human. Terrible doctor on top of that.
