“You’re just anxious” NO I have CANCER.
I went to the ER due to my Mirena moving & the HORRIFIC pain it was causing me. She very rudely told me she wasn’t calling the on call dr to come in & look or take it out-didn’t expect that. Asked for some kind of imaging to see if it perforated something, etc. She literally told me it was just my anxiety. After she Forced a pelvic exam on me, (had 1 within a week & a half prior by OBG dr, had a follow up w/him soon after) & she couldn’t see anything that way, when I told her she wouldn’t be able to because the OBG couldn’t either. Yeah, turns out I had stage 3B cervical/uterine cancer & a tumor bigger then a baseball! She treated me like a child as my mom was with me, I’m 37 & couldn’t safely drive. I’d rather drive 45m-hr away for help before I’d go back to SSM health then chance running into her again. Her treatment of me the minute she saw in my chart I had anxiety was disgusting. She should be ashamed of herself & I wish I could tell her to her face my ANXIETY was CANCER.
