Dr. Laura Boyd, MD

Dr. Boyd is a wonderful doctor. She listens and helps to solve whatever issue you have. I am very lucky to have her as my doctor!

I came to her office a day early for my appointment. She made room in her appointment list to get me into her schedule anyway. I had been hospitalized at Alexian Brothers Hosp. They had released me without any final instructions. Dr. Boyd knew what to do and took over. I had been placed on Oxygen with no instructions on how to get off of it. Dr. Boyd knew what to do. Her actions on that day showed that she is a caring doctor. She has been my personal care giver for more than sixteen years now. She has never let me down.

Every time I am there, Dr. Boyd is attentive, professional, and thorough. She listens, even in the limited time we have together. Her approach is considerate and patient-centered. She tries to problem-solve with me, takes my experiences into consideration, and is very attentive to making sure I am coordinating care with other physicians, tests, and etc.

Dr. Boyd follows up on your visit explaining all your test results and any other issues you have.

The doctor's visit was very good don't have to wait more than an hour the doctor and the nurse came to take care of me on time. They both met my expectations and needs.

It consisted of my 6 month check up. I know I hadn’t been feeling as well as I had been — headaches and blurry vision at times. After going through the exam, Dr Boyd feels my B/P is high and we’re working on controlling and monitoring it.
