Dr Jackson was kind and patient helping to make my surgical experience as pleasant as it could be. I recovered well from my procedure and she walked me through everything step by step.

Unprofessional
The practice she was with had 8 drs and had me rotate through all of them to meet everyone. The first 7 were great until her. The moment she walked in she had a look of disgust on her face. She was extremely short and only answered with yes or no responses. I made it clear to the front desk to not schedule me with her. Guess who was in call when I went into labor? Dr Jackson. She was visibly upset and barely spoke two words. She broke my water and left the room. Came back in when it was time to push which took 20 mins. She put my son on my stomach and stormed out. Never seen her again. The nurse looked at me and made a comment about her behavior. This woman made me fear for my safety. Immediately after I had my son that practice closed suddenly. I am so relieved she isn’t in VA anymore. When I had to find a new provider I made sure she wasn’t with their practice. My experience with her has haunted me for the last 6 years.

After meeting and having a routine third trimester appointment with Dr.Jackson, I was left rattled and crying. She was unprofessional and I was left feeling like a piece of cattle. I felt violated and as though my health was the furthest thing from her mind. My appointment with her was approximately five minutes after having waited an hour to be seen. She was extremely dismissive and refused to acclimate to my comfort level. I even told her I was uncomfortable and she continued to multitask.
