Dr. Routh is a friendly, very knowledgeable and caring cardiologist. I like his way of answering questions and addressing concerns, and his post-appointment follow up with an appointment summary. He did not rush me through my appointment, but rather gave me his full attention. I recommend him to anyone in need of fantastic cardio consultation and care.

The Heart Place turned me over to a collection agency for not making payments on my angioplasty and stent placement done in the hospital before I even came to Routh’s office. My sister paid for my few appointments with this doctor as I have no insurance. She also paid a couple of payments on my hospital bill. The doctor doesn’t discuss your condition with you properly and Telling a heart patient that they can come back after working things out with a collection agency instead of finding out what is going on with patient’s health is inexcusable.

I have been trying to make an appointment for my husband to see Dr. Routh for over a week now. Every time I call, no matter what time of day, I'm asked to leave a detailed message. Would really like to talk to a person without leaving a long detailed message that I'll have to repeat again once someone calls me back. Requesting another referral from our primary physician.

Dr. Routh performed my father's quadruple bypass and extended his life for 20 years. He is now my cardiologist. He is very thorough and established a great rapport. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. I trust him!

Dr Routh is very thorough in his assessment of patients. He can seem somewhat mechanical but is a very smart man. He put six stents in my heart when 5 other cardiologists said I was fine. I was still having chest pains until Dr Routh saved my life. He spends a lot of time with you and sometimes gets a bad grade for wait times because of it.

Had the admin call to provide test results and she couldn't answer questions. Told me I could schedule an appointment if I want to speak with the doctor. Appointments in Mar and Apr 2014 and I recieved and paid bills in May 2014. Then in Mar 2016 I recieved another bill for March 2014. When I asked if this happens often because it's too late for me to use FSA money that I lost in 2014 they said yes it happens frequently in their office. So this visit cost me double..will not use him again.

We have no reason to doubt the Dr. But we had a very unfortunate experience with his staff. Basicaly one of them was offended when we complained in an upset but civil manner & someone called us later making a fantastic claim about one of us that was definitely not true & warned us that if the offending party was going to return to the office in the future that he would have to be sure to be respectful. There was definitely not any disrespect. Currently making other arrangements. Feel bad.
