Great doctor
Dr Perich was just great. I did not have a long wait considering he also did a procedure during the same visit. I had a film over my left eye implant. He removed it with absolutely no pain. I think he is a great doctor and I have been telling my friends about him. I could see clearly when I left his office and drove home. I give him 5 stars.

Highly Recommend
Wonderful Experience! Dr. Larry Perich performed both of my cataract surgeries last summer at his New Port Richey location. I experienced no complications and my eyesight is perfect. Dr. Perich is an expert in his field. The resident doctors who were there learning from him told me that they considered Dr. Perich a brilliant surgeon. Their only regret was that they knew he wouldn't be available to perform the surgery once they got to be old enough to need cataract surgery. Everyone I saw in the Perich Eye Center was kind, professional and very friendly. I recommend Dr. Perich to anyone I encounter who says they think they may need eye care.

Dr. Larry Perich kept me waiting to be seen 2+ hours after my scheduled appointment time, and all the while video screens in both waiting rooms announce over and over that a healthcare professional will see you shortly. I asked the staff to define shortly and was told 2-3 hours for Dr. Perich. I further learned from the staff that Dr. Perich routinely sets his schedule by double and triple booking patients every 15 minutes to arrive 1 full hour before he even plans to arrive at his office. I made a point of telling Dr. Perich, that I was very aggravated by these circumstances causing me to miss another scheduled appointment in another town, 3 hours after my appt. time with him. His response was a halfhearted "sorry, but that's how we run this office." Then he wanted to know what my other appointment was for, and who it was with (I answered, but it was none of his business, and it implied that my time and another provider's time was not valuable). Needs another Opthalmologist in office.

Wait was 2hrs . And that's the normal wait time. I have been seeing Dr perich for five years. And always bring audio book. So many mistakes operating on my eyes. I don't drive so I had to stay with this Dr and office. What a terrible experience . Mis measuring my new cornea for lens implant before it was fully healed , and 3months betwn measuring and actual operation. So another lens needed to be implanted over 1st lens at my cost for additional lens . So many other mistakes on both eyes.

I had cataract surgery in the last two months. When the doctor operated on my right eye they put me to sleep and the surgery took 27 minutes. Later I found out that the doctor was teaching somebody how to perform this surgery, just “forgot” to mention it to me. After the surgery I was sick for over a week from the anesthesia. The second surgery took only 15 minutes and had no side effects. Both my eyes are infected after surgery, I don’t know what will happen. Avoid this doctor if you can.

The main issues I have with this doctor'said office was lack of communication with me in terms of insurance referrals. I had a written referral not being told prior that it needed to be generated through their system from my doctor. After a year of going back and forth with this office and my insurance I was forced to dish out $358.00! All could have been avoided if they had properly communicated to me their referral process...very upsetting and expensive :/

Dr Perich is fine and Surgery was great, but Office Management needs to help! A girl called today to inform my Husband of his Surgery on Thursday. She asked questions and told us, my husband she was told to ask these questions. These same Patient questions that were answered 2 Weeks ago when he had his 1st Surgery! Plus a List of Medication were given to them 2 weeks ago, yet she REFUSED to check his RECORD. The OFFICE PEOPLE REALLY NEED A CLASS IN PROFESSIONALISM and PROFICIENCY!!
