Great doctor, great staff.
I choose to drive 40 mins to this location because of the genuine staff and doctor McKenzie. My appt was at 10:50 and I was back in my car at 11:31. I've never felt rushed, or dismissed. Every concern or complaint gets addressed and I've always felt like I was a priority at this location. The facility is clean. I literally have no negative words or complaints.

I consider him a quack. Wears a useless mask I've see the data for that shows it doesn't stop "covid". He didn't want to read my medical journals, he reduced a pain med, put me on another that wasn't as effective, and didn't consider putting me on a different type because "he didn't want to open the door". I'm 43, I'm an adult and don't need to be treated like a child, this, after the FIRST doctor at Access Pain Solutions, was found to be a past junkie, on probation for stealing pain meds and injecting them at his previous hospital. So they treat ME like a potential addict, but literally gave me a doctor with past personal problems. The manager yelled at me when I requested to see a different doctor, so they then stuck me with McKenzie. I should have stayed with the ex-addict, at least he was respectful. McKenzie has the typical narcissist attitude & clearly has problems. He doesn't care.

Positive review of Dr. McKenzie
I have nothing but nice things to say about Dr. McKenzie. He listened to my story, did a proper exam and assessment and suggested a treatment plan that continues to meet my needs. I feel so lucky to have found him.

Dr McKenzie was my husbands pain management doctor while he was doing treatment for cancer. We thought he did a very good job, listened and responded well when he had issues. I would recommend.

DR. WAS RUDE TO MY WIFE WHILE INTERVIEWING HER CONCERNING HER PAIN. HE FREQUENTLY CUT HER OFF WHEN SHE TRIED TO EXPRESSED HERSELF. HER PAIN LEVEL WAS SELDOM BELOW 7/8. SHE HAD MULTIPLE SURGERIES AND PROCEDURES AS WELL AS TOOK CHEMO. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM FOR YOUR LOVE ONE DEALING WITH PAIN.

Dr. McKenzie dismissed my partners pain. He said the pain she was experiencing was made up, and not from her cancer. He ultimately decided not to treat her, because she asked for specific medication she researched about. I really believe this was because we are two women, and he was visibly uncomfortable with a lesbian partnership.

Dr. McKenzie is a doctor who repeatedly told me my pain was in my head. I am diagnosed with a rare cancer. I was going through chemo and preparing for a transplant. He told me repeatedly I was making up my pain and had mental problems. He referred me, a cancer patient to a psychiatrist, who told me the Dr. thought I was bipolar. I am not, nor do I have a history of mental illness. I am a cancer survivor of 19 years, and am diagnosed with a cancer that affects my bone and blood. He finally prescribed me hydrocodone. I had a bad reaction to it. He refused to prescribe me anything else until I got patient relations involved. Finally he prescribed tramadol. I was in pain for so long before he finally listened. Anytime I would ask for a change when it stopped working, he told me he couldn’t work with me anymore. I had to go to a pain management clinic. He thought I was a punk, because I died my hair blue when I found out I could die. He didn’t know about my cancer, my pain, nor did he care.
