Dr. Larry Levinson, DO

Dr Levinson treats me like he has known me forever. He makes my health plan so easy by doing all that he can right from his office. Only need a specialist if I really need one. I look forward always to see him and his staff.

Straight foward and to the point.

Doctor Levinson was My doctor for many years while I was living in Florida, it took me a long time to find him , but I was so so so happy when I finally did, this is exactly the type of doctor That I need , someone that listen and use some prevention, not the one that prescribed antibiotics for every single problem,. The equipment in the office is for sure not up-to-date but he has everything there including an xray machine. The best way to take an appointment is via email, they will respond to you super quickly because yes they are extremely extremely busy because he such a good doctor, Now I live in Las Vegas For almost 3 years and I still didn’t find a doctor that I like. Dr. Levinson is very professional and nice, but when it comes to his front desk staff just imagine the meaning of the word RUDE. I wish I would of asked for a name to write on the review, that lady is so disrespectful she shouldn’t be working in an office with such a nice doctor because all she is doing is making patients not want to go there.

Doctor Levinson is a caring man. His office is not the most modern but at least he still takes Medicare patients when so many do not. As being the 'primary' or gatekeeper to the specialist who does the real work, he is acceptable. The woman making appointments for yrs is the worst in my 60 yrs. First, she tells me that I will get a call before my appointment. There is then silence as if I should just hang up and wait? I persist and she seemingly unwillingly looks up my name. She then says I missed my appointment and I was a "no show," spoken as if I were a bum. Another time after trying repeatedly to get her to call back she when she does she opens with, "Sooo, what'z the emergency??" Rude.

I unfortunately am leaving the Family practice of Dr Levinson due to the ruddiness of the front desk lady, I should have asked for her name but did not. Anyways, called trying to get an annual appointment for my husband, we have been seeing him for a couple years maybe a little longer, and when I ask her if he would have a 9am appointment available she went off on me saying "Everyone works honey" in a superior tone, I stated that I was simply asking and that she was being rude and her answer was oh no I am just very straight forward. There's a difference in being straight forward and rude and this lady was rude so I again brought it to her attention that she was coming across very rude, and she continued saying that she always gets yelled at this and that and the third, so I told her well ma'am you need to be rude to people that do that to you, in this case it was a simple question about the schedule, and she went asking so what date are we looking at and I just thank her and hung up n

*THE DIRTIEST OFFICE EVER* Imagine this: There is a doctor who has been at one office location for over 20 years. Now imagine that he has never cleaned or painted his office...including the bathroom, in his 20 years there. Then add in the fact that there were thousands of manilla folders all over the office because he has not updated to computer. Then imagine ants crawling all over the place. I can't even tell you if he was nice because it was so dirty I couldn't get past it.

The doctor is good and professional. Staff leave much to be desired. Every time I call or come in they act as if they are being inconvenienced. It's very off putting. Worse is that the staff don't seem to care about cleanliness or privacy. The bathroom is always a disgrace, dirty and smelly... how can a patient be expected to have faith in their doctors cleanliness if he or she can't even have the staff maintain a clean restroom. If the staff is to lazy to do it then hire a cleaning service...

Thank you Dr.Larry for taking care of my mother; and myself.His office staff are simply wonderful and Dr.Larry, will answer any questions you have no mater how I asked lots!

HORRIBLE!!! Dirty and unorganized office. Patient files all over the place, in rooms with patients waiting to be seen! Pretty sure that's against privacy laws. Unprofessional staff. Wait times over an hour before you even get in a room. There were actual bugs in the waiting room. I could go on and on. Should have walked out the second I opened the door.

Dirty disgusting office, with nasty and unprofessional staff. Doctor got upset with me because he couldn't put me on Prozac and other depression medication, when I said I'm not interested he left the room with an attitude and was visibly upset with me. Be very careful what test you do, I got billed for a test I never did. THIS OFFICE IS A BIG SCAM!!! Filing a complaint to a heath department.

Have been seeing him for over 10 years best DR in the Area

Would not recommend this physician. My father saw him for several years. Had multiple symptoms prior to being hospitalized. Was admitted to the hospital with a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm and passed away at age 64. Was never offered a screening for AAA. This physician never looked deeper into the signs and symptoms he presented with. I can only hope that this will not happen to someone elses family member due to his negligence. Stay away from this physician.

Dr. L is the BEST, his picture is next to the word thorough in the dictionary. Whatever health concern I have faced, Dr. L prescribes the proper latest tested medication and he follows closely to ensure the desired result is achieved. Within the past 14 months, both parents (previous patients) transitioned. Dr. Levinson personally called to express his condolences to my mother, when dad died, then called again when her health took a turn, lastly he called me when mom transitioned. TOP NOTCH!

I have been going there since i moved to Florida. My parents were extremely satisfied with him and so am I. Whenever i need a referral i am always completely satisfied with the doctor he recommends, i guess because they are just like him....
