Dr. Scanlan and her staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. They answered all my questions. The term 'skin cancer' made me nervous when the dermatologist told me, and I had never heard of Mohs Surgery. I googled it and read up on it but still was nervous and had questions. They were wonderful! And Dr. Scanlan was patient and took time with me. Someone from her staff even called me later that evening to follow up with how I was doing. Was recent patient of Dr Scanlan and her staff is very welcoming personable and compassionate If I could give Dr Scanlan 10 stars I would since I have had 2 Mohs surgeries with here and she explains everything in detail and makes sure everything is negative before she discharges you. Recent visit to office staff as always, kind, compassionate and very professional. Dr. Scanlan consistently takes the time to speak with and listen to me. She explains procedures and expectations clearly.

Dr. Scanlan performed mohs surgery on my mother (I escorted her) and I was extremely impressed with Dr Scanlan's patience and caring demeanor. I knew immediately that she would be my choice for my own exam and she did not disappoint. My examination was extremely thorough and she patiently answered the many questions I asked.Dr. Scanlan's professionalism and expertise gave me confidence for my own mohs procedure.The office staff Is friendly and accommodating. In fact, everyone working with Dr. Scanlan made me feel comfortable, was professional and made me feel cared for.I highly recommend Dr Scanlan (and I already have to several satisfied friends) for mohs surgery.* I want to add, that my mom's mohs surgeries were on her face and she is very vain. Dr Scanlan did such a great job that you would never know she had any surgery done. Needless to say she is also a very happy customer.

I just went for my first visit. The office is old and dingy which made me feel like I am set back to the 50's. They have old newspaper articles framed on the wall in regards to Nazi invasions etc...I felt very uncomfortable in this office being German. When I mentioned to the staffmember that I requested Dr. Zaulyanov for my first appointment which I asked for specifically ahead of time the day I made the appointment, which is important to me, I was told it is with a PA. The woman at the frontdesk has long dark hair and is in her 50's or so and very rude! I walked out and would have walked out even if Dr. would have been available. The newspaper articles on the walls and the dingy office gave me a really bad feeling.

Terrible experience...she left ugly scar tissue on my nose after mohs and was not capable of repairing it

I had a surgical procedure performed yesterday by Dr. Scanlan. She and her nurse Amy could not have been any nicer or more personable. Both were very friendly, professional, and comforting. I felt very comfortable during this entire procedure. I will return in two weeks for another procedure and I am not one bit nervous about this.

Dr. Scanlon is a caring, sensitive extremely qualified dermatologist and surgeon. She listens well to your concerns and gives excellent opinions based on her kknowledge and education. Her approach is an honest and conservative one. Aging is a gift, but looking old is optional. Dr. Scanlon will help with the process!

Dr. Scanlan is a fantastic doctor. I was very nervous about my procedure but she explained it so well that I was calm throughout the entire episode. I felt like she was holding my hand though I know otherwise. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. She has a wonderful staff working for her. I felt very comfortable the minute I checked in. I would recommend Dr. Scanlan to everyone I know.

Dr. Zaulyanov-Scanlan performed MOHS surgery on my ear after getting back the results of a biopsy. She and her staff are both friendly and skilled. They, especially Dr. Zaulyanov-Scanlan, explained what was happening and put me at ease. They gave me detailed instructions before I left. The surgeon has an excellent manner with patients. I recommend her to anyone with concerns or questions about their skin, especially, as in my case, about sun damage.

Dr. Scanlan is as caring as she is smart and a great doctor! I had surgery on my face and the final results are amazing. She has a wonderful bedside manner too!!

If you are looking for real professionalism, knowledge, and bedside manner go to Dr. Scanlan. She was my second opinion, from another very well known Dr. in Deerfield Beach. After seeing her, it was no contest. She explained everything along the way (I had mohs surgery on my lip) she did it in a way I could understand.Also, she was very gentle, AND NOT IN A RUSH, and made me feel very confortable. i AM SO HAPPY i TOOK THE EXTRA TIME TO FIND HER.
