Dr. Larissa Larsen, MD

I called today after being a patient of Dr. Larsen's for 3 years. I was told that the next appointment was on Thanksgiving. I asked about a call list and was told "it is very long". I told the person I'd had skin cancer and I needed to see the doctor. She said, sorry, that's the best I can do... If I w, it will be a big rush if it's malignant as the last two were.

Great dermatologist I’ve been going to her since she started practicing in Camarillo a short while ago. I’ve had an eczema problem for years that was being treated with Kenalog injections. They became ineffective after years of use leaving me with a terrible redness and itch that wouldn’t go away. Dr. Larson prescribed an injectable medication to be taken twice a month that was very expensive and my insurance initially would not cover it. Dr. Larson wrote the insurance company explaining that all other avenues have been tried and didn’t work. Through her and her office’s diligence the insurance agreed to cover the medication. I’ve been taking the medication for 4 months and the redness and itch are gone. This doctor knows her business well and I highly recommend her.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Larsen today and she most certainly lives up to the wonderful reviews she has received. She was punctual, friendly, and informative. I did not feel rushed and all of my questions were addressed. The facility itself is very tidy and the staff were all helpful and friendly.

Dr. Larsen is an awesome dermatologist! I have seen numerous dermatologists in the last 25 years and Dr. Larsen is by far the best one I've seen. Now that I'm older and have been dealing with these dry, red spots and she is the first one to ever tell me what kind of cream and soap to use! She is the first female doctor I have seen and she has helped me so much! Dr. Larsen takes the time to talk and listen to me and she is kind, pleasant! Such a breath of fresh air! So happy my regular doctor sent me to her...
