Dr. Larisa Russell- my regular MD.
Dr. Russell is very thorough. She takes excellent care of me and makes sure I keep up with colon test, mammograms and other required test as I age. She also takes care of my prescriptions. She has an excellent memory and apparently takes excellent notes. She is very familiar with my illnesses. I don’t just see her for earaches, sore throats, etc., but she is my regular doctor. I am very pleased with her professionalism and her care. I hold a lot of respect for her as a physician that I can trust.

I feel she is a good physician
I’m reading some of the reviews and just have to comment. I’ve used Dr Russell for quite a few years. I have found her to be very detail oriented, takes the time she needs with me, discusses logically & medically. If someone wants to do something that’s not in their best interest …. Hurray for Dr Russell standing up for what she believes is right!!!!!

Shouldn't be allowed to practice.
She told my girlfriend that she won't prescribe birth control because she doesn't believe in it, and also that counting calories doesn't work for losing weight.

Very rushed and her nurse is who will respond to all emails with very little information. Dr. Russell is not caring and is explosive and hostile towards her patients. While waiting in the room you can get her demanding demeanor to her staff and has outbursts about her “stupid” patients. Very unfit to fill Dr. Vaughans shoes being he was so wonderful and caring. I’ve had conditions vaguely explained to me by her nurse and when I went to a specialist she treated me like I was dumb for trying to get more clarity on the condition. She does not listen to her patients and has major trust issues. After being treated like a bad dog at my last visit I fired her. That’s the words she used loudly to her staff about her patients, she fires them. And when other patients can hear her. Her god complex has her keeping low tier prescriptions you need to maintain being withheld from you until you find a good doctor. Medhelp knows and don’t do anything about her behavior.
