Dr. Lane Reed, MD

Dr. Reed has been our family doctor for 20 years :) We love how he has a casual and welcoming attitude, is patient, a good listener and offers options. He tends to advise common sense and low-key/lower cost/less invasive suggestions first. Not afraid to ask for time to research options. Helps us where we are, not assuming everyone is healthy and without issues. Relates well to a variety of ages (my parents and my kids were seen by his office as well~). He explains procedures and illness expectations well and in language we can understand :) Nurses there are friendly and helpful; staff is efficient and billing is accurate. Office is always clean, smells fresh/not like bleach or ammonia. We trust Dr. Reed and are very pleased with the relationship we have with his practice. As far as "hands-on situations", he is swift but smooth and gentle when dealing with wound care, injections, mole removals, stitches, female exams and other normally cringe-worthy procedures :)

We've been patients of Dr. Reed's for quite a while. We've always had great experiences. However, last year, Dr. Reed showed us something that we had never seen before. My brother, Marc, who was also a patient of Dr. Reed's, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41. Dr. Reed cared so much for Marc and our family, that he showed up at the viewing to offer his sympathy. He's not only a very good doctor, but a very caring person as well.
