I was referred to Dr. Stein for evaluation of ongoing issues with liver enzymes and other symptoms. I never felt rushed during any of my visits and staff worked well together to make sure my liver function tests and lab work were all coordinated while I was there as it was a distance from my home to see the doctor. I received a diagnosis that I really didn't want to hear, but worked with the doctor and staff for a treatment plan including weight loss and nutritional changes and can thankfully say that I have managed to reverse some of the negative findings at this time. Dr. Stein also has excellent staff that got me through tests, biopsies, etc. and his nurse practitioner is also the best. As a retired nurse I would high recommend Dr. Stein if you have any liver issues as he is very competent, caring and makes you a willing partner to work with him with a treatment plan.

Went to piedmont on advice of family and friends. Background on me, chronic panceritiatitis with cystic leasions, stage 1 nash and uncontrolled type 2 diabetes. Saw Dr.Stein because he was recommended. I already know what's wrong with me just needed help getting it under control. Dr.Stein probably spent 15 mins with me if that. Things I asked for and about, a dietician, Pain management and help with the chronic panceritiatitis. Stein offered 0 help no refferals and sent us on our way. Not good.
