Neck Tumor Removal
Very upset at the lack of after care received by this surgeon. I have physically seen him 3x’s, office visit, one the day of surgery, one day of release from Baylor. Gabapentin seems to be his fix all drug of choice & when I declined the drug, requested to physically see him as he stated I could after surgery if complications evolved- I was told over a 3 month wait but he could prescribe me Gabapentin. Again, I declined meds. You performed surgery, acted interested, received $30k and now I live in pain because you’re too busy? I did what a patient was told- “see me if there’s any complications” & upset you when I rejected medicines as a fix all. In the meantime, I cannot utilize my right sinus, can’t eat due to sensitivity and have unanswered questions that I simply would like to meet and discuss but because you’re too busy- I wait, patiently. Please for future patients that trust their lives with you- work on your after care & no much on the $ involved.

The office staff is incompetent
I have never left a review for a doctor. I feel compelled to warn others before you schedule with this Dr. His office and staff are absolutely incompetent. I work in healthcare and I know the behind the scenes. I have the skills to navigate the system and still I have worked so hard to get simple things. The whole experience is an unnecessary nightmare. After weeks and multiple voicemails, I finally get a person and they state they had not even looked for my test results. The person looked up the results while I was on the phone. This happened with 2 different tests. Then the referral to another Dr takes almost 2 weeks. And to top it off- the referral is incomplete and the Dr will not schedule my appointment. I am sick or I would not be seeing Dr. Oxford. Weeks of severe pain with no help. I am now having to get a referral through another Dr so I can pursue treatment. I cannot recommend this Dr or his office. If you are sick- go somewhere else.

Leave You Hanging
No Follow up Was referred to this doctor by my PCP. Went to have testing that was ordered. 3 weeks later, still no follow up with results. Just leaves you hanging out there. Finding someone new who cares enough.

DR. OXFORD
Diagnosed with allergies by 3 different ENTs. Third ENT referred me to Dr. Oxford. Diagnosed immediately Cancer had taken 1/3 larynx & 1 vocal cord . Removed 1/3 & gave me 3 more years of talking. Cancer took rest of voice box & vocal (Dr. Oxford told me from beginning this would happen) but he gave me 3 more years of talking. He did laryngectomy I now speak with "button"in throat but at least I can communicate. 14 years later , 82 yrs old, I can still talk. I still can communicate with others! RASPY VOICE, SMALL SPOT ? CALL DR. OXFORD!!!!

I am very pleased with this office. My mother and father recently visited this week as new patients with dr. Oxford. My parents traveled about 4hr after hearing great reviews of this facility. I just wanted to give a huge thanks to both the doctor and one of their nurse names Vivi. As my parents explained she was kind hearted and willing to help in anyway. She was able to help my parents get all testing done the same day in order for them not to be having to travel back to dallas if it was not necessary . As both my parents stated " we have never seen a nurse be so diligent and caring in their job, it filled us with joy and brought tear to our eyes" she was able to asure my dad that he was in great hands and if anything theyre always there to help us in anyway. A huge thank you for this facility and making my parents feel secure through this rough time.

I would highly recommend Dr.Oxford. My dad had cancer in his mouth and he had to have a total maxilectomy as well as have his cheek bone taken out and replaced with bone from his leg, an 8 hour surgery. My dad is 80 years old, so this was a very scary surgery for him and us, but Dr. Oxford and Dr. Potter(plastic surgeon) knew exactly what they were doing, told us what to expect and could not have done anything better than what they did. Less than a month later he is home and doing great!!!

Dr Oxford performed my parotidectomy, hope I spelled it right, and he was very professional and caring. I was looking to pull the “race card” but he never wavered in his concern nor was he bothered by my nervous banter. I would definitely recommend him, however, he may like to rethink his intern, Dr Lippert, whom I hope to never see again.

He gave us hope when my dad was struggling with a stage 4 cancer. Him and dr. Potter performed a major surgery on my dad to remove cancer both in his mouth as well as the jaw bone. He not only did a well done job but also followed up through and through. My dad is currently under going radiation but is cancer free. Dr. Oxford is a blessing to our family.

Dr Oxford did major surgery on me 8 ears ago and did a wonderful job. He walked us through the entire process. I still see him every 6 months for follow-up and I have never had to wait longer then 5 minutes.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He doesn't pay attention to his patients needs. He doesn't listen. He has no compassion. I question his knowledge about some of his "areas of interest". I believe a doctor should know the symptoms and be able to recognize when a disease is progressing.

This is the best doctor a person could ask to have. He was very informative and answered all the questions I had even some I knew were crazy. He talked to me in language I could understand and not big medical terms. He was very straight forward and to the point. He did not give me any false hope that was not to be had. He took time with me and made sure I understood what my prognosis was. Very wonderful doctor, very blessed to have had him recommended to me.

This doctor should lose his license. He is arrogant, uncommunicative, and rushed. He is quick to operate without explanation and promises results without delivering. Do yourself a favor and pick another ENT. Dallas has wonderful, caring doctors - do not settle for yourself or a family member. This is not a caring man.
