Dr. Lance Leclere, MD

Dr. Leclere was outstanding - listened well and had a good plan that addressed my issue. I was actually seeing him after an unsuccessful surgery from a non-Vanderbilt provider, and have much more faith in his plan.

Absolutely a wonderful physician. I was having a very bad experience with my health and had a very hard time getting any one to understand or see me, but Dr. Leclere immediately saw me and began trying to find out what was going on with me. I am beginning to get better after my surgery and treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. LeClere is fantastic surgeon. I had his rotator cuff tear again in 2020 after having it fixed once in 2013. During the surgery, Dr. LeClere found an additional issue(torn bicep) and repaired that too. The surgery was a great success. He listens and actually cares and really seems to want the best for you. Would highly recommend him!

Dr.Lance LeClere is an excellent doctor who really cares about his patients! This is my fourth time to go to him for a steroid shot in my knee. He always explains the procedure and he makes me feel comfortable.

Dr LeClere was very knowledgeable about my shoulder condition. He really took the time to explain it to me and allowed me to ask questions. I appreciated his expertise in this area and can see the benefits of his shoulder specific training. I also loved talking sports with him! Top notch staff too!

I found Dr Leclere to be rather snobbish and stand-offish. I assumed being a sports medicine orthopedic he would be able to help me with a severe neck issue. I originally scheduled with him for a knee problem but after I went to the ER for my neck, I changed my appointment for my neck. He and his staff never got the change and caused me some embarrassment while he told me ‘I’m surgeon. And I don’t do necks’.

He saw me on the day we called. He was very detailed and caring. He explained everything as w went. Very good care.

His office is well run and he sees patients on time. He listens to me and he asks questions before a diagnosis He is never rushed and very caring and concerned. He did not push me to a surgery solution. He gets the facts with tests and prescribes the least invasive approach, first. He predicted my knee would heal over time and it did. He gave me some at home excesses for my shoulder that he pronounced sound but with inflammation, treating the inflammation with a mild prescription. Honesty , he is just the best. You will not be dissappointed in the treatment and care you receive from Dr. Leclere.
