Dr. Chintala cares and knows me well
I have been a patient of Dr. Chintala for about two years. She has come to know me well over that time. She cares about how I am doing personally as well as medically. She has collaborated with other specialists in my care team. She is good at explaining what to expect from treatment and long term prognosis.

This doctor made my mom’s cancer experience more of a nightmare than it already was. She simply doesn’t like being a doctor. She is not an inherently mean person, but she is miserable in her career and you can tell she would rather be doing anything else besides working with patients. She despises being asked any questions whatsoever and will give her patients the shortest answers possible. Her bedside manner is the poorest I’ve ever witnessed in any health care worker. I hope she can quit being a doctor and do whatever she is passionate about.

If you are referred to Dr. Chintala, I strongly recommend you ask for a different referral and save yourself from her unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable patient care. I spoke with her on the phone today to talk about our expectations for better communication and being warned of potential setbacks prior to prescribing something new. Instead of listening to my concerns, she spoke over me, belittled me, insulted me and my family, and was quick to pass off my mom to a new doctor. The phone call left my mom crying and feeling rejected, neglected, and in limbo wondering if anyone will help and be decent. My mom was in her care for a little over one year, and she experienced nothing but inexcusable issues prior to my phone call with her today - being talked over, not listening to concerns, having to remind Dr. Chintala of previous discussions from previous visits because she refuses to take thorough notes (and she told me she doesn't have time for special notes), and

this is my experience with chintala, after telling me that I had cancer which in my mind is a death sentence,i expected the doctor to give me some comfort by saying like, you will come through this, your odds are good...I'm going to work with you, your going to be okay...in otherwords I felt she had no bedside manner....she asked if I had any questions...duh I was in shock after getting the news of cancer of course I couldn't think what to ask.maybe the next visit will prove me wrong on her
