Dr. Kyle Swanson, MD

Kyle Swanson is the most unprofessional, condescending, arrogant, and incompetent doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He doesn?t know how to listen and will grab you without consent. Do NOT go see him request a different doctor. He will not help you. I told him he was worst doctor I have ever seen. He said it was impossible. He?s to self centered to realize he’s not a godsend

He what, in a total knee replacement crooked! Won’t even acknowledge what he did!

Dr.Swanson is an above all excellent surgeon and doctor.He has done both my hips plus my husband's knee.He answers all questions and willing to listen.The St. Peter Hospital has beautiful facility and nursing staff. Without his expertise .I wouldnot be able to walk and function.

When I needed knee replacement surgery for my second knee, I was anxious to find a good surgeon. I had a very difficult time with my first knee surgery. A friend gave me glowing reports of Dr. Kyle Swanson. I went to him for a checkup several years prior to my recent surgery. I was impressed with his manner and forthright style. When I finally needed the surgery this year, I went to him again. I was able to get a steroid shot until the actual surgery. I was pleased again with his help. I can say the recovery this time was 1000% better. I’m not sure exactly why but I am improving quickly and with so much less pain.

I am 10 days in to recovery for bilateral hip replacement by Dr. Swanson. He and his team have been phenomenal through all stages of the process so far! I trust him and his talents! Thank you!

Dr Swanson is an excellent provider. I fully trust his competence. His manner and the quality of his patient care engenders confidence. He is kind, reassuring, and explains things well and thoroughly. He sensitive to patients needs and very personable!

He knew right away how much pain I have been having over the years….didn’t hesitate that I needed knees done right way. He enjoyed taking the time to visit with his patients and not just do a 5 minute run through.

I believe Dr. Swanson is a fantastic Dr., hence why I chose him to do my double knee replacement surgery in 2016. I was thankful to be able to get into seeing Dr Swanson that day (7-5-23) when I happened to be in Mnkto. I was thankful for the P.T. directions he gave me and am sorry I left not following his directions thinking I could do it on my own. A day later I realized doing the P.T. would be the best for me to do now & consistently in my future to strengthen my back. I called back (7-7-23) and was SO HAPPY to be able to have his nurse follow the Dr.'s paperwork & set up the P.T. at NUMC. I am involved in it now & will be continuing in my future with the exercises I receive. I am improving. THANK YOU DR. SWANSON! Dr. Swanson recently performed a total knee replacement for me. From the very beginning he presented himself as an outstanding expert in his field. I felt like I was getting the best and most competent care available. He also took the time to establish a patient relationship so that his recommendations were specific to me and my preferences. Highly recommend!

Dr. Swanson is a blessing to me - He knows about knee pain. I went in for a Cortisone Injection 3 + weeks ago and he also offered a brochure for me to read about the Synvisc-One Injection, which I decided to have done and was done yesterday 6-22-2023. We both know eventually I will need the Knee Replacement Surgery.

Friendly staff and how they really had my best interest and for my hip replacement to be a success. Definitely recommend Dr. Swanson and the river edge staff. Everyone one was a great bunch of people.

Dr. Kyle Swanson is an orthopedic surgeon in the South Central Minnesota areas including Mankato, St Peter and another location. Dr. Swanson is an absolute top notch knee replacement surgeon. I am a 59 yr old male and 5 weeks out from having bi-lateral total knee replacement done by him. Everything went well and I did inpatient rehab for about 2 1/2 wks.. I am now walking, off pain medicine, able to drive, and enjoying life again. I still have some discomfort but it is far less than what it was before surgery. Time will improve this as well.This Dr. is Great! I thanked him for giving me my quality of life back!

Dr was honest and through. One year later the hip replacement is all he said it would be. I will return there to have the other one done
