I started going to Dr. Girod about 10 years ago for my back. He gave me the shots in my back and I was ok for about five years but I had pain again and I finally decided to have the fusions he recommended. I had the surgery a year ago and I am not hurting like before. I still have still having some pain but nothing like before. He let me make the decision to have the surgery myself and told me 'you will know when'

He was extremely detailed and made sure my wife and I had our concerns met. He also spoke in words that my non medical brain could understand.

I was referred to your clinic (Dr. Eiserloh) by my PCP in March. First appointment was for April 30th at 2:00 P. M. Two hours before appointment got call to cancel appointment. Dr. On call. Had to go to hospital. No “I’m sorry.” No attempt to reschedule earlier appointment. Next appointment was at end of May. Could not wait that long because in severe pain. Using cane & wheelchair to get around. Was transferred & made an appointment with Dr. Girod for May 7th. Saw him. No problem with him. Wanted MRI. Waited a week. No call from y’all. Called insurance company. No request for MRI. Called Dr. Girod. Left message. Still no answer from office. Waited another week. Called insurance company. Still no request for MRI. Got phone call today to schedule my MRI. Has been over a month. Would have been nice to get call from y’all to let me know what was going on. I have found another doctor. I hope not all patients are treated like I was. Employees never gave their name when calling. Rude.

Really, Really great visit.
His manner was funny, informative & he explained & actually sketched how procedure would go. My implant will be performed this week. So excited. I wish I'd been referred to him a long time ago. Was referred to me by another amazing doctor, Dr. Marcus John also from Baton Rouge

Disappointed
Although I thought on my first visit that I thought Dr Girod would be perfect to treat my neck problems. But it took almost 10 days to get an MRI of my neck and I wasn't allowed to see Dr Girod for another 17 days to review my MRI results. Even though I Contacted Dr. Girod and his Nurse to explain how serious and painful my neck pain was. No one would help me. Although I am not sure that my messages where given to Dr Girod but if they were then I did the right thing going to New Orleans to see a neurosurgeon who is treating m e for my severe neck pain

Came early as asked, paid co-pay, waited 2.5 hours
After all that time waiting, I saw a P.A, who could not get into the computer., She asked me the 4 questions that I had come early to do.I told her he said to come back after my hip surgery to check a fracture in my back. Now my back hurts and there is pain going down my leg. So I wanted it checked. She left the room for 15 minutes, came back and said I think you need an MRI, and go schedule it up front.I was there 2-5 p.m. and NEVER saw Dr. Girod. AND used up all the battery in my cell phone.
