Dr. Kweku Grant-Acquah, MD

Since birth, my son was showing signs of vision issues. We were refered to Dr. Grant by a PCP in Long Beach when my son was 1 year old. Dr. Grant's expertise showed when he demonstrated to me the issue with my son's eye. It was very impressive that the doctor was not willing to surgically intervene immediately. The treatment to improve my son's vision was easy to follow and is working. Thank you so much Dr. Grant. I wish to continue working with you.

I have never been treated with such lack of courtesy and professionalism by a medical provider. Dr. Grant treated me like I was unworthy of respect or medical attention. If you have a chalazion, Dr. Grant will not try to help you because what he's basically saying is that he is tired of being referred patients with that issue when they should just have better hygiene. Avoid him at all costs if you don't want a very unpleasant experience. I cried in the waiting area from how upset he made me and how helpless I felt.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Grant. He was the most unprofessional, impatient, rude, and crass doctor I ever encountered. Do not bring your children here, he has no business working with kids. The way he spoke to me was disgusting, he told me that I needed to “get over” my daughter’s eye condition and said “some children have worse conditions like cancer”. The lack of awareness and empathy he showed was repulsive.

Long wait 1-1/2 hr after apptmt time scheduled. Possibly 6 mos b4 getting surgery d/t unavailability of surgery suites for the one day month he’s here. Why bother coming to this area if there’s no follow thru for the surgery? I am an RN so I’m aware how things shud be run in medical field, & this is totally unacceptable.

Terrible experience, we have been seeing him since 2017 because we have no other options in the lower desert. The wait is typically 3 hours and when I asked him why the wait is always so long he told me that I should look for services elsewhere if I was not happy. He tried to belittle me when I questioned his assessment and I felt like he tried to intimate me because I was a women. I collected all my daughters personal records and will never return.

Dr Grant explained everything RE appointment in detail. Answered questions and was pleasant in demeanor

My visit was very smooth. My appointment was at 0940 and at 0940 my appointment began! My assigned Dr. Grant made me felt comfortable and most of all he made me felt knowledgeable about my eyes condition! I asked questions and he answered them ensuring that I understood why I was having certain issues with my eyes!

We believe in acknowledging unsatisfactory as well as satisfactory experiences. We were SATISFIED with our experience at Acuity Eye Group in Westchester, Ca with Dr. Kweku Grant- Acquah. We appreciate the promptness, friendly staff, super clean and aroma friendly lavatories, and the movies (as oppose to infomercials) while waiting to be seen by the physician.

I recommend Dr Grant and his office if you're in need of eye care. Friendly staff and Dr Grant is wonderful.

Awesome visit. Desk staff and medical assistants were friendly and professional. Dr. Grant is awesome, knowledgeable, professional & kind. This was my first visit & I’d recommend him & the office for anyone needing an ophthalmologist. Great visit!
