I have had a similar experience as the first 1 star review from Albany. I am in a mess from neck surgery Dr. Amponsah did on me in 2014. The mess he made of my neck will require another 2 surgeries to fix. In addition, I have bone damage. Something needs to be done about this mess. He should not be allowed to enter an operating room.

My son had an ACDF done by Dr. Amponsah. Once the surgery was done, at first things were good. After the initial post-op visit, he never checked the surgical site, would ask questions but didn't seem interested in our responses. After we had gone back to see him 3-4 times, he admitted that he didn't fix everything, but instead chose one spot to fix. My son wanted to get his records recently and we were surprised to find that he disappeared, no one knew where he went...

He is a good Dr. because he did surgery on my back it left me where I can walk along. At each visit went him he never examine me to see how the cut was on my back. He would always ask how am I doing and to keep tapping my left feet like that was going to help with the problem. I would not recommend him to anyone not even my family and friends because he will leave you where you can walk along.
