Dr. Kush Patel, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr Patel for several years since another physician brought him to my attention. The comment from the original doctor (a dermatologist) was that Patel was the only PCP he would see due to his exceptional skills at seeing the big picture and ability to remember and incorporate all factors of a patient’s care. Since I have MS and other medical issues, I thought he sounded like the right doc for me. I’ve never been disappointed! l’ve been frequently amazed by his adept attention to detail. He always considers each problem in relation to all issues the patient has presented — currently or historically. It’s truly amazing how well he integrates and creates perspective considering the patient’s full history and potential relationship of one concern to any/all of the others. Fantastic bedside manner as well and efficient Office with friendly staff. Couldn’t give a stronger endorsement!!

Dr Patel always surpasses ones expectations. I have never had a doctor that was so attentive and invested in my well-being. He is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable, and has expertise in evaluating the root cause and plan course of action. He has given effective resolution to major chronic health issues that no other doctor has been able to, inclusive of specialty doctors. His portal is always responded to in an extremely timely manner, even on a holiday weekend!! which made all the difference in feeling better much sooner. His office staff always extends stellar care, attention, and kindness. He takes the time to listen, observe, and analyze your progress, and communicate to you so you understand in detail, with the ease to not make you feel rushed, but as if you are his only patient and he is determined to optimize you feeling well and being well. I appreciate the fact that he is passing on his knowledge and experiences to newer doctors that he has working in his practice.

After moving here a few years ago it took awhile but I'm thrilled to have found Dr Patel. He has a wonderful bedside manner, all the staff are super friendly and caring and I know I'm getting the best care and advice when I'm dealing with Dr. Patel. When needed he can be frank and tell you what you need to hear versus what perhaps you want to hear and I appreciate that candor while also being compassionate and thorough. Highly recommend!

Waited about an hour and 15 min to see the doctor. When I got roomed, I got my vitals taken and an EKG (not sure why). Then, about 20 minutes later, a bunch of med school students showed up, asked a bunch of questions, and said the doctor would be in shortly. Another 20 minutes passed, and the doctor finally showed up. It was a quick 10-minute talk; I wonder if he even listened to my concerns and it was done! I still needed blood drawn, and it took about 15 minutes to get it done. Needless to say, in this long wait at the doctor's office and for a 10-minute face time, is it that good of health care? Even listened to some of the staff in the hallway complaining and making fun of the patients?!

You won’t find a better primary than Dr. Kush Patel! Up to date on all concerns and procedures. Extremely caring and believes in that old adage that he is here to help you. The portal is a great asset, getting responses 7 days a week for concerns. Hi office staff is welcoming and very helpful! So happy we found him and his office!

Dr. Patel has been my primary care doctor for the last 2 years and the BEST doctor I have ever worked with in my entire life. You are not just a # to him, he shows you genuine attention and cares about you. Very easy to talk to and doesn't judge you. I love working with him.

Things did not feel right, I don't cry wolf and basically he saved my life and spotted an anomaly in my heart and within 24 hours I was in Morton Plant ICU recovery and in three hours staring at two beautiful blue eyes thinking I had arrived in heaven... Great communication, great affiliations with Bay Care Medical Group, a great hospital, great staff both in his office and in the hospital, I wish all Dr's were this way. I have learned Good doctors affiliate with Good Doctors...

Dr Kush Patel and his staff are highly effective medical professionals at the Bardmoor Health Hub location. Christina greets us when we arrive to Dr Kush Patel’s office. Richard, Kayla and Jeanette signs patients out and schedules for follow up appointments. Andrea has been extremely helpful with attention to details for my paperwork. Dr Patel is thorough in his examination and spends quality time including me in discussion and the decision making process to best address my medical needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel for about 15 years. His office is well-organized and I rarely wait more than 2-3 minutes from the time I sign in until I am taken to an exam room. His staff is helpful and patient. He listens carefully and shows true concern for your needs/concerns/issues. He is very proactive with screenings and other preventive care and I get quick responses when calling or emailing with a health concern. I am able to have blood drawn for testing within the office and his partner provides gynecologic care.

Dr. Patel’s medical practice operates at a high level, it is head and shoulders above the rest. Everything previously written about Dr. Patel’s compassion, diligence and knowledge base is true. In addition to him, from top to bottom, his staff is very pleasant, very capable and very efficient. He and his staff are truly 5 star.

Dr Patel is the kind of doctor that truly cares about his patients. His knowledge of the latest medical advances is extensive. His patient portal allows you to communicate with him anytime. He is well thought of by his many Baycare associates. I have recommended Dr Patel with confidence to several friends.

Dr Patel is one of the most kind compassionate doctors you'll ever meet. He actually listens to and cares about what you say. He will not give up until he either figures out your issues or finds someone who can. He will fight to get you the help you need. Because of his caring, compassion and diligence my husband who has been in pain for 6 years and ignored by other doctors has now gotten the surgery he desperately needed and is on the road to recovery . His staff is also AMAZING.BEST DR EVER

The best ever!

Dr. Patel is the BEST doctor I have ever had, and I have lived in many places in my life. He is thorough, kind, professional, and friendly. He takes the time to listen to his patients. He found a heart issue (double bypass) I had, and my husband's thyroid cancer. He helped my brother with some health issues he was having. Everyone I have sent to him agree with me. You can trust him with your life. We did!

I was referred to Dr. Patel by a friend and I am so glad to finally found a doctor I feel comfortable talking to. He is a very caring person and actually listens. Being able to communicate through the portal with him has been very helpful. I always get a quick response. He is simply "The Best". His office staff is great too!
